When did you notice your bump?

I am 14 weeks today with my first, and very slender but husband kindly said today - oh you have a real little bump there!

I have put on 2-3lbs above my normal weight. I notice myself my boobs are massive and my stomach is slightly bigger than it was but when did everyone else notice these changes?

I suspect I will still get 2-4 weeks out of my own clothes.

Xx

Everyone is different, I thought my bump was big at around 18 weeks, but looking back at pictures I look like I had just had a big meal. My husband always comments on the size of my bump because he is used to seeing a flat stomach.

I found that I was in maternity jeans from around 16 weeks as my normal jeans felt too tight and uncomfortable. Found that otherwise leggings and dresses limited having to buy maternity clothes.

I was about 14 weeks both times when I noticed it myself. Most other people (other than DH) didnt really notice until it was about 18 weeks.

I was 16 weeks when I noticed my bump. About 12 weeks when I needed new bras though. I'm wearing harem pants or leggings/jeggings rather than invest in maternity jeans just yet. I've put on about 8lbs so far.

Quite early, before my first scan. My bump was twins.

I'm 15 weeks and already have a noticeable bump, with my first I was a lot later showing but I feel massive already this time.

I was noticeably pot belled at 7 weeks. By 14 weeks o had a recognisable bump if I wore tight clothes. But I was all out front and got massive at the end. This time round I doubt I'll show properly till 20 weeks.

I am 15 weeks. I have 2 pairs of jeans I can still wear - they are both from zara so a little on the generous size anyway! My boobs are massive (from an A cup to a C cup)
My thighs and bum have just gotten flabby though as I was so sick and stopped my usual training but ate carbs and chocolate WinkWink
Hate my ass being huge and wobbly but the rest is fun and normal! Reckon I have another month left before I m into maternity gear proper but most of my usual clothes don't fit - I can just go up a size tho.

I was in maternity jeans by about 12 weeks but mainly due to the size of my arse. Didn't really get very bumpy until around 20 weeks. People I didn't know very well started properly noticing it about 26 weeks and I was able to take off my "Baby on Board" badge and still get offered a seat.

I was bigger around the middle from about 8 weeks, but my bump suddenly popped out overnight around 18 or 19 weeks.

I can't remember with my first but I've gotton very pot bellied from 7 weeks Hmm
I'm now 9 weeks.

And that's not just me thinking it, people have been asking me since then due to my belly so I've just told everyone!

Around 20 weeks I think. Before that I definitely outgrew my jeans (hair bobbles are a wonder for extending wear!) but I just looked a bit more chunky than usual.

I needed new bras at 8 weeks though Blush

Bump is looking apparent now - I've just turned 15 weeks. Started wearing maternity trousers a couple of weeks ago though as my usual skinny jeans were just too uncomfortable. Bras are another issue. I've gone from a DD to an F and I don't think they're stopping. DH is thrilled.

I'm a bigger lady (size 18-20) and can honestly say I went to bed at 15 weeks 6 days with no more than my normal lard, work up at 16 weeks and it looked like someone had switched my flab to a pregnancy belly.

Totally mental and at 17 weeks now, I can see it more and more, albeit with the flab on top.

Doesn't make sense when you think that fidget is only the size of a baby turnip - must just like the extra leg room Grin

i'm 16 weeks today and no sign of anything except that my jeans are too tight now. i am sure my massive apple belly is stopping it from showing :(

Hi crazy cat lady :)

Everybody is so different I have come to learn.. Just roll with it because everyone differs ... But for me (I'm 5 mths now) I definitely look pregnant with a definite shaped round bump.. It got noticeable a couple of weeks ago... Before that it was growing steadily I suppose but then iv always been a bit bloated and probably water retention too... So I alwas had a bit of a bump anyway from earlier weeks ...

I would say 14 weeks there was a little bump. 12 weeks was bloat but still looked bigger than before. It really came into its own around 17/18 weeks but still obviously not huge! It's wonderful x
