3rd Tri energy surge.... anyone?!

This might be a bit of a ridiculous question/wishful thinking, but did anyone have more energy in their third trimester? I had a rubbish first and second trimester. And I've tons and tons of things to do (house stuff and work-wise) before the baby arrives. Given my energy levels so far I'd doubt I'd get through it.... so hoping for some out-of-no-where energy!

I've heard of people getting ridiculously randy in the 3rd trimester.... I wonder if it can be harnessed into productive energy?!

So did you get more energy, or is it downhill from here??? Confused

I would really love to say that I am bouncing around with energy, but I really am not, am breathless cause my uterus is squishing my diaphragm, and when home I tend to just get my feet up as much as possible, finding work tiring too. Plus the need to wee a fair amount during the night is back.

Everyone is different though, I think I would have had more energy if I had been able to continue exercising, but consultant won't let me :(

I felt brilliant in the 3rd trimester. Spent the first two trimesters throwing up everywhere and anywhere, so just getting rid of the sickness and being able to eat some food again gave me a whole new lease of life. So it does happen sometimes!

Nope. Just got the third trimester and I feel like I need a sleep every afternoon.

37 weeks and absolutely no sign of an energy surge on account of severe spd and sleep deprivation. I have to admit this pregnancy (my 6th and aged 40) has really taken its toll, the others were textbook, a breeze in comparison!!

No, the opposite. Felt great during 2nd trimester and had lots of energy. Am now 30 weeks and, just in the last week, I am feeling exhausted. I am grateful that I have only 2 weeks left in work as the tiredness is overwhelming.
