Uterine fibroid that moves around - anyone else got one..?

Currently 23 weeks pregnant with first child. I've had a fibroid on the right hand side of my uterus for a while. It's 8cm diameter. In the early stages of pregnancy it was very visible as the only thing sticking out to the right of my belly button. This evening I noticed that it's moved. It's now very decidedly to the left of my navel. My partner had a prod too as he didn't believe and it's definitely not part of the baby as it didn't respond in any way to being pressed. Has anyone else had experience of fibroids taking walks during pregnancy? Am seeing midwife next week and it doesn't hurt so not going to bother her about it until then, just wondering if anyone else had experienced this...am not freaking out about it, just curious!

Is it on the outside of your uterus, like a mushroom? Mine seem like they grow and shrink, I have 2 side by side which are like mushrooms, so they can't move too much (I'm also not pregnant). It does depend on how thick the 'stalk' is though I think and whether it's just one. Hope this helps.
