Hi, we found out on Valentines day!
So I'm 7 weeks tomorrow... I'm very excited! Just want to get to 12 weeks and hear a heartbeat... Then we can start to relax a bit. I didn't really have any symptoms for a while other than sore boobs & needing the toilet a lot but I think the nausea has started this week. When ever I'm not eating I feel sick, which is strange! How are you finding it?

How exciting!

I'm actually ok, I was really tearful at the weekend, i started crying over a really silly disagreement over pizza's! and i thought that was really strange I don't normally get that upset around my period so I took a test on Monday (after buying one on the way to work) Other than crying and if i get really hot i start feeling sick but i'm fine.

Also i've been having a few pains in my stomach like period pains, they even wake me up at night.

I did have period style pains around the time I would have got my period, it's really concerning isn't it... You think oh here we go lol
Haha it's better when you know you're pregnant and then any over sensitive episodes can be blamed on it! I'm just finding myself to be unusually slack! Lol keep forgetting things and saying the stupidest things! Congratulations to both of you by the way :) had you booked your appointment with the midwife yet?

I'm the month before you. One thing I do have to say is if you have pain and brown discharge between weeks 5 and 6 don't worry - this happens when the placenta embeds abe is perfectly normal.

What you can do however is pretend to be far more worried than you are and see your midwife and have a scan to double check - you will see the bean and its little heartbeat!

Hi and congratulations! It's very exciting isn't it. How lovely you're planning on a mothers day announcement, nice timing.
Not thinking auntydee's comment is very constructive, as pretending about concern for your babies health is a really awful thing to do, as you'll be taking up time that another woman who is in true distress / suffering a miscarriage needs.
Wishing you a healthy, happy and drama free pregnancy.

I just found out too! Really don't know when to tell anyone as could tell our parents on Mother's Day but not sure if they will be able to keep it a secret for another 6 weeks to tell everyone else!

Congratulations to you all too!

I can't wait to tell my family I'm avoiding them at the moment. There is no way I'd be able to say nothing until 12 weeks.

I'm also expecting baby no.1 and I'm 9 weeks tomorrow. Going away bang on 12 weeks so I'm really hoping for a scan a few days before then, although I'll only find out one week before. It's so hard having to wait. Like a lot of you ladies have said, I don't think it will feel real until we have the scan.

I had felt fine until 7 weeks but since then I feel really tired, a little sickly throughout the day and rather reluctantly, I'm having to eat my food at a slower rate! Apparently sickness around week 7 is common, due to the placenta embedding.

Now the sickness is a little better this week and weirdly, my tummy looks a bit smaller. Perhaps it's my mind playing tricks on me? I thought I'd feel more pregnant, if you know what I mean? ...

Congrats to everyone here.

I'm only just 5 weeks, and apart from feeling a bit odd every now and then, i haven't had any pregnancy symptoms. My husband said i should stop wishing myself to feel sick as i'll soon regret it, but i think it will make it a bit more real for me, it's another sign that i am! Smile

I found out last week on the 6th March too, and am 6 weeks today!(also my first) So happy!
I also wish I felt a bit more pregnant, even morning sickness would do lol. I feel bloated and had lots of cramps like period pains but other than that I don't feel any different!
Decided to book a private scan next week just to try and help me relax and enjoy the whole experience

Congratulations everyone!

Hi and congratulations all!
Also recently found out I am pregnant with my 1st, am 6 weeks tomorrow. Feeling sick constantly, can barely face thinking about food or cooking, but no actual vomiting...yet! Only had about 5 days of this, another 6-8 weeks seems like hell! :(

DT86,

6 weeks tomorrow too!

Sore boobs, bloated, peeing. No sickness/nausea yet though :-) I don;t know if I'm imagining it but my jeans feel tight already. Not planning on telling anyone until 12 weeks....aarrgh!
