Equipment for baby

So after much googling of baby products I finally went in to mothercare today to have a look at my choices up close.
I will be buying a Bugaboo Cameleon which of course I've seen tonnes of times before.
However I suddenly thought "god that's bigger than I expected".
I'll also be buying the Next To Me Chicco crib.
Aside from maybe a bouncer is there any "big" item or piece of equipment that I'm completely forgetting?
I live in a large one bed apartment with a very large bedroom, decent living area, bathroom, hall, kitchen etc.
We also have a storage cupboard and loft.
I'm just panicking that our comfy spacious apartment will be rammed!!
Any recommended storage solutions? :)

For my dd (already arrived but currently in SCBU) we have bought:

A coach built pram (my "luxury" item this time. Didn't have too but really wanted one!)
A stroller for when going out in the car/public transport.
A crib ( had a family heirloom that didn't fit so bought a smaller one)
A car seat (which looks exceptionally large!)
A baby bath. Wasn't going to but our house is cold and as she is prem and tiny I feel bathing in front of the fire may be better for her.
A bouncy chair.
A steriliser. I will be bottle feeding when she leaves hospital.
A tall boy for all her clothes.
A nappy bin. I know from experience that this keeps smell to the minimum.
A changing mat.
A decent (read expensive) pacapod changing bag.

Still to buy:
A playmat to lay her on the floor.

Previous babies (she is my fifth) have had a swing too, but I am resisting due to lack of room this time.

And I was given a Moses basket which we may (or may not) use in the lounge for day time naps.

Phew! Glad to see a list like yours that didn't include every single product available! !
Looks like my modest list isn't too naive!
Are you getting a Silvercross coach?
I've seen mixed reviews about baby baths but I also think I will invest in one!
Good idea about the playmat!!

Congratulations on your new arrival Smile

For storage, I'd recommend something like the Ikea expedit, I underestimated how many bits we'd have to find homes for (china & decorative gifts, toys, overflowing baby medicines, etc). The sprawl got to me, but a compartmented larger piece like this at least keeps it all on one wall, and they do storage basket things that fit in it too.

Large things obviously can't go on it but an awful lot can, and because it's all divided you can still see everything.

Hi

Our list of stuff is also short.
We got stroller with carrycot. We will be also getting the Chico next 2 me.
We got bathtub with support.
Changing matt.
Car seat- we dont have car but came inexpensive as deal with the stroller.

Im not getting crib until she is ready for it. Bouncy seats, playmats etc I will get as I see need for them.

My coach built pram is a marmet. It's identical to the silver cross kensington, just a different badge! I got it from eBay, £50 and it's immaculate. The woman I bought it off of even put sheets and chrome polish in with it when we collected!

I have replaced the mattress though.

Most of what we have bought we got in the last month or so. I wasn't prepared at all when she arrived 10 weeks early!

I'm so glad everyone else's list is short and that I didn't omit something important!
I just advised my partner of my list and the total cost and he seems a lot more relaxed! !
Even though we own our place and he has a good job he was panicking a bit about finances!
I guess that's what happens when you find out your expecting, you end up thinking/worrying about everything! !!!
