Drop in or anti natal triage

I appear to have developed a large and painful lump on my inner buttock (just beneath my labia) over the last few days. Dr Google thinks it's an infected sebaceous cyst - seems relatively harmless long term but it's now painful and I'm thinking a trip to nhs drop in is a good idea before it gets any worse. Should I call the ante natal triage to see if they want to see me first or just go straight to the drop in? I'm 26+2. Baby seems happy enough and movements have remained consistent.

Id go to out of hours doc, not sure antenatal would or could do much?

Why would you go to antenatal triage? Go to your GP or walk in centre.

I had a pilonodal (sp?) cyst when I was about 24w pregnant with DC1. Had to have to lanced in hospital under local. Lovely.

Think of it this way - you have a skin condition unrelated to pregnancy. The pregnancy specialists are not the people to help you.

Thanks. Just wasn't sure of the procedure for non pregnancy relayed medical stuff when you're pregnant.

Take your pregnancy notes along as they may want to see them. I had to be admitted for my cyst (hopefully you won't have to be!) and my hospital notes had 'pregnant' written across the front, I think basically because normally it would have been dealt with under general...
