34wks, skin feels itchy when tired in evening

Hi all
I'm 34 weeks and since about 25 weeks I sometimes get itchy skin when I'm tired in the evenings.
If I have a bath it goes away but at the moment I just don't feel up to hauling myself in and out of the bath!
Being over warm doesn't help and I think it's to do with tiredness as it's only in the evenings when relaxing or watching TV.
I've heard about itchiness being to do with liver problems but it's not constant just annoying when tired and achy from a full day at work!

Any one else had similar?

I get this, and have done since about 9 weeks. It is when I am over tired. It's not on my palms or soles of my feet so not the liver thing. I don't really have any tips but misery loves company! I often find I feel a lot better when I give in and go to bed!

I've found that just standing in the shower and running very hot water over the itchy bit helps. Don't overheat, you're just blasting the skin for a ten or twenty seconds. It'll feel worse for a minute, then better. I think it may be due to mast cells releasing all the histamine at once then exhausting it.
Also moisturise more. Stretched skin itches, dry stretched skin itches more.
If it's really bothering you, go see your doc. Cholestasis can show without itchy palms or soles.
