Hey everyone,

Title says it's all really. This is my first baby and really can't quite believe the hunger I have during the day - is this normal?? I have a meal and then hungry literally an hour later. I thought it was bad in the 1st trimester. But this is on another level of hunger and I'm scared my baby is going to be huge as I'm fairly petite!

Basically I'm freaking out Confused

Cherry x

If baby has now engaged properly it will give your lungs and stomach more space so you will feel more hungry

some hear! 39 weeks too and feel like I could eat a chocolate horse ;)
baby has been head down and engage for a bit now so that cant explain why I could eat like an elephant all day long. Have resorted to drinking loads and back on my 1st trimester treat tic tac to curb the hunger. I refuse to get a up in the middle of hte night just because I am starving!

keep thinking maybe its my body fueling up for labout and please dont let this be another growth spurt for my little one.

I'm glad I'm not the only one then! The head is almost fully engaged, but tbh I've been feeling this crazy hunger since about 36 weeks and it's just getting worse.

I'm slowly losing my 'plug' (gross sorry!) so maybe my body's way of making sure I have plenty of fuel inside me for the big day Confused though at this rate I will need to be rolled into the hospital as I feel so big ha x

I'm the same!! 38w and on a see food diet! I'm trying to con myself with fruit but my body deffo only wants naughty fatty food.

I agree with foxhugs, I think its instinct.

Can't wait until Wednesday to see if its more engaged! X
