I think I have a sickness bug but am due to have a midwife appointment tomorrow. If I'm not being sick by then should I go to the appointment? Will be off work for 48 hours to avoid spreading it but not sure if I would be wrong to go to the midwife.

I would probably try to reshedule. How far along are you? As i guess the apts become more imporant the further on you are. And also how easy it would be to get another apt

Thanks for replying. I'm 36+5 -I'll phone MW in the morning and see what she says. If I'm not feeling well I definitely won't go as it involves a bus journey to another town.

If you havent been sick yet why do you suspect a bug?
If its diarrheoa could that be a sign of labour starting soon?

I've been very sick (to the point of bile) and had to be taken home from work but since then I've managed to keep some cereal down. My boss did start suggesting that it was a sign of labour!
I suspect a bug as it's different to the heartburn induced sickness I've had, I've been really flushed and I work in a nursery where there have been bugs going around.
