Feeling movements but higher up?

I am 15+1 with second DC. Last two days I have some movement sensations which make me giggle but it is just a bit higher up that I would have thought - kind of belly button and bit higher? Thought baby was lower down?

Is it twinges? When I was about 16 weeks I was starting to get little twinges at the top. Sadly I think it was muscles moving rather than the baby itself. :)

I have the same. Seemingly it's got to do with the position of the placenta.

Its not pain or anything twinge like - its almost a floaty movement and reminds me of movements last time (had forgotten what they felt like). I am rather short so my belly is smaller length wise than most! I'm hoping its movements as last few days no pregnancy symptoms bar this and it makes me worry!

Apocalypse how many weeks are you?

I'm 21 weeks now, but I was 19 weeks when the GP had to move the Doppler up to hear the baby's heartbeat above my bellybutton where I feel movement. She mentioned that it was due to the position of the placenta, and the sonographer also had to move her wand for the same reason when I had my most recent scan at 13 weeks.

Depends on what pregnancy you are on - I am 15+2 with DC3 and mine is way up by my belly button. I can feel definite baby movements behind my belly button and sometimes to the left x
