Pregnancy

Cannot stop eating

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and honestly I cannot stop eating Sad when I eat I feel sick but then it goes and I want more food.

Is anyone else having this? What fills you? If you're not constantly being sick.

I suppose it's a good thing as I'm severely underweight but I'm not used to ever feeling hungry never mind it being constant.

Yep - stomach is like a bottomless pit. I'm sorry to say I'm 13 + 1 and still ravenous/nauseous. I'm hoping it will calm down soon. I probably look like a loon at the work canteen with all the stuff I'm stacking up on!

Fruit and carby breadstuffs seem to work best. Ryvita is good if you want something not too calorific that seems to fill you up for a while.

Just go with it though - your body is telling you what it wants.

Yep quite common in early pregnancy. I had to eat every 15 minutes otherwise I'd be retching and being sick. Completely weird. I'm 28 weeks now and still eating a lot, trying to reign it in a bit but I'm just so hungry!

I'm the same at 24 weeks, have been since quite early on! trying to curb it a bit, and eat healthy food, but stomach is definitely a bottomless pit.

I honestly can't believe how much I'm eating it's shocking my parents too if anything they're so used to me eating two rounds of toast a day and being done with it.

Hoping this means I'm having a healthy pregnancy been pretty symptomless so far and having a scan Thursday which is scaring me!

I can see me being the size of a house soon though although so far I'm dramatically losing weight!

I'm 8+5 and feel the same way! I am starving and then I eat loads and then feel sick for ages, until I eat again. It's a big horrible cycle. I really hope it eases up after 12 weeks or I will be the size of a house!

Hey, I was like this at the start, just wanted to eat EVERYTHING but it made me sick. I did much better eating little and often, I took crackers to work and they were great, just nibbled on them when I started to get hungry and that stopped the nausea. Now 22 weeks and the massive appetite has returned! Using fruit as snacks but it's taking some amount of willpower to not eat masses of cake and chocolate!

I'm just the same. At the start it was the only thing keeping nausea at bay.

Dreading the lecture when I get weighed again...

Hi, I'm only about 6 weeks pregnant and all I want to do is eat 'yellow food' as my husband calls it - fish fingers, toast, toast and more toast, bread, chips, scrambled eggs, cheese etc! I normally eat a really healthy diet, roast veg & chickpeas for lunch is a staple for me, but I just can't quite seem to face it at the moment. I also seem to need to eat constantly! Hoping it'll settle down again otherwise I'm going to be the size of a house!!

I was like this, until this week! I am 15+2 today, and for once I have managed on toast and shredded wheat until lunch.

In the first few weeks it was bacon sarnies, followed by hot lunch and hot dinner!!

I couldn't stop otherwise I would feel so sick!

Yes. I'm just short of 12 weeks and I've gained 4 kilos. :(
I feel like absolute shite every time I get hungry, so I'm basically finding myself eating every couple of hours all day. Need to rein it in, but I'm having terrible stress at work, and I have no idea how to deal with stress and feeling so exhausted i could drop, and sick all at once.

I'm 24 weeks and queen of carb mountain.

My first 12 weeks all I wanted was beige processed junk. Now I eat more variety, but I just eat all the bloody time! I just ate a massive bowl of tomatoey pasta with cheese and garlic bread...and I could carry on. It's almost embarrassing Blush
