Pushchair question

Hi ladies,

Basically me & my DP are looking at getting the oyster 2 pushchair, however my SIL has the carrycot for the ordinary oyster which she said she would kindly give us now she no longer needs it. However what we want to know is..does the carrycot for the ordinary oyster fit the oyster 2?

Can't answer that specific question, but now on my third I will say....if you've been offered an ordinary oyster for free just get the bits that fit that one and don't faff about with fancy pushchairs. What you do buy, buy second hand from gumtree and save yourself some money.

Seriously, you'll use it for six-nine months then switch to a Maclaren or something which are much easier and smaller to use when you're dashing about with a toddler.
