Hi All ? I?m normally on the Conception board but thought it might be more sensible if I asked the q on this board! Apologies if this is the thousandth time it?s been asked?

I?m just wondering what your early pregnancy signs were? I?m feeling slightly odd but it?s probably just wishful thinking!! Would be helpful to know what you experienced so I can compare and contrast!

Thanks ladies

Little tugging, sharp or crampy feelings in my uterus - not everyone gets this, but I have always felt implantation (or my reaction to it).

Then the next one for me has been smells smelling stronger. Cramps with dd, none this time - and nausea early this time, not till 8 weeks with dd: they do vary hugely. Sore boobs came later for me both times.

And no signs is normal too - good luck, hope you are!

First sign for me was brown patches on my forehead, feeling dizzy at work when bending, extremely sore breasts - I mean so sore that taking my bra off was crippling!

Thats about it, my af was late by 2 days but I had been on the pill and my cycle was a bit 'all over the place'. I somehow knew the day that I felt dizzy that I was.

Thanks guys.

Earliest I can test is next Tues - prob best to wait until next Sat though.

A few days ago I had this weird fluttery feeling in my stomach, and now have got AF period type pains. It's probably just AF, but they seem v early. Normally only get them 3-4 days before I'm due. No sore boobs or heightened sense of smell though! I dont know - probably just being too hopeful!!

Hi there KitKat30. I started feeling all sorts of odd sensations with this pregnancy - more so than with my other two and at a much earlier stage (well before my period was due).

I started feeling quite hot and flustered all of the time; occasional dizziness; I'd get waves of nausea throughout the day, sometimes accompanied by sudden sickness that would have me running to the nearest bathroom; my boobs became quite tender and felt fuller; I also became tremendously gassy, with it popping out of either end without warning (sorry if that's TMI)!

I took a home pregnancy test on the day my period was due and it took about 30 seconds to turn positive.

What kind of symptoms are you having? When is your period due? Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Whoops - yes, I must have cross-posted!

If there's no sign of your period on Tuesday, it might be worth doing taking a Clear Blue pregnancy test - they seem to be quite good.

Wishing you luck and still keeping my fingers crossed for you!

kitkat 30 - I remember now that I had 'period pains' just before af was due and I thought that I was due on. But I obviously wasn't!

Early signs for me first time were extremely sore boobs, again taking my bra off was agony! They felt quite heavy too. Was always completely knackered, no energy, not wanting to move off the sofa, that kind of thing.

Second time, af was about 2 days late. Did a test, not really expecting to be pg but was shocked to find I was. Just had the terrible tiredness again. Got to about 6 weeks and started suffering with nausea, but always about 1/2 in the morning, to the point where it was waking me up.

Good luck. Keeping fingers crossed for you!

Thanks everyone - feeling v lightheaded and bit queasy this pm... so hard to know if I'm just making myself feel this way!! Think I will try an early test on Tues - dont think I can wait any longer!!

Will let you know how I get on!

Hey! I was bloated, full on water retention, MEGA PMT style emotions and pasty looking. I had what i thought was a period, but turning out to be just browny coloured CM and then nothing - implantation I guess. Did several tests and did the whole "am I, aren't I" debate, holding them up to the light. Relented and got a Clearblue Digital and did an early morning wee (5.27a.m! another indication as usually last out the night) and DING-DING-DING-DING-DING!!!!!! PG! Now 21 weeks and getting booted in the guts!

Thanks guys - I hope I am! It's just so odd for for me to be getting period type pains now, a full 9 or 10 days before I'm even due. But I dont want to get my hopes up too much because I know how disappointed I'll be...Plus it would be waaaay to jammy to be this lucky on 1st month TTC!

hi, my mouth tasted as though i'd licked a rusty fork on all three occasions, this being a few days before af due. breasts fuller in appearance and nipples so saw. also went to loo endlessly - bladder had constant 'bloated' feeling but hardly 'did' anything on each visit.

Hi everyone I am new to this but wanted to know what advice you would give. I am similar to Kit Kat but the difference is that I got a heavy bleed 8 days before my period was due and then only lasted for 2 a bit days which is unusual for me. Since then I have had extreme tirdeness where I had to sleep at my desk! I have also been extremeley bloated and my stomach looks huge!
Sorry about the long post but could anyone shed any light? Ps I have taken 2 tests are both were negative.
