Hi, I was just curious whether anyone else has literally felt something in their womb slight cramping and discomfort and discovered this was the moment of implantation!?? I felt this several weeks ago and have now discovered I am pregnant. It was an extremely strange sensation! I also remember having this when pregnant with DS and now pregnant for 2 nd time I can confirm I am not crazy lol also I can literally feel which side I am ovulating from during my monthly cycles. Is this common or am I some sort of strange person?

Yes, hello.
This happened with ds2, i told my dh and mil and nobody else as i thought they'd think me strange.
Then dh went away for a week or so working. I did a test asap and confirmed pg.
I'm not sure if its common or whether people may think you've lost it Xmas Grin but i believe you.
Oh, we have 3dc and with ds1 I didn't know until 22 weeks, so every pregnancy and person is different. x

Brilliant. I consider myself lucky to have felt and suddenly been aware of tiny life inside me. It's nice to know there are other women who have experienced it tooGrin

Me too, usually I get very obvious ovulation pain so know when I am ovulating. The month I got pregnant Ididnt have any pain just abit of the excuse me (mucus stuff) so didnt think anything of it because ususlly ovulation is so painful for me far worse then having the time of the month. So when on cycle day 22-23 iI got really bad pains and stomach tenderness I thought I was ovulating really late so was expecting my period to be a week late. But when I was 3 days late going by not ovulating late I took a test for some reason I didnt even know because in my mind there wasnt even a possibility and I got a very decent positive. So when I had an early scan, iI actually realised my late "ovulation" was actually implantation :)

Aaw, I just went to "Like" your last post rcc92 then realised I wasn't on facebook :P

I haven't had this exactly, but I know everytime I'm pregnant even before the test shows, because I get giant weird stabby pains in my boobs that I don't usually get month to month.

How nice for you though, and congrats!

Yes I definitely felt different, like I could feel my insides growing and changing, and I remember saying to OH I hope I am pregnant otherwise I need to get my brain checked out!! X

Yes, I felt implantation with my DS. It was very painful but only for about 15 minutes.

I can feel which side I am ovulating from, definitely. Have always had ovulation pains.

I knew with all of my pregnancies that I was pregnant before my period was due. Just felt funny...sort of 'tingly' inside and spaced out.

Yes, like mumof3 i can feel when I'm ovulating too - I can feel which side.

When I was pg with DS2 I knew immediately which "occasion" it had resulted from - then I sat and worked out my dates etc and I was right.

Yep! I remember being at work and having this really strong period type pain and thinking oh, my period is about to start. (i wasent trying for a baby at the time) 2 weeks later, no period and a bfp! Then it dawned on me that's what the pain was.

also, im another one that can feel when im ovulating, i can feel like a buzzing numb feeling in one of my ovaries.

I did with ds, just knew and it took 3 weeks late before it was confirmed with a bfp on a test, we have just started ttc dc2 and I think I'm just making things up in my head now, pondering over every twinge.

I felt it, probably twice (I'm having twins) but very definately with the second baby which I am confident implanted two days after the first. It was only in retrospect that I could put two and two together. The second one was like little electric shocks (unpleasant but not painful, a bit like a kids toy I had when I was a kid that was like electrocution roulette! Lol), the electric shocks came like morse code, short shocks, long shocks, gaps in the middle, it lasted a minute or two. I remember exactly what I was doing at work when it happened. The first one was not so memorable, but was like a very sharp pain, unlike a normal period pain.

I felt a weird pop when I got pregnant with DS1, I've never told any one in RL because they would think I'm a loon.

I felt a distinct pinching in two places and went on to have twins. It was so definite I wasn't surprised at all at my first scan to see them both.

I was reading in bed one evening and I had two very distinct sharp pains on my right side within seconds of each other. A week later bfp and 9 weeks later an ultra sound showed twins! I have never said this to anyone. It was obvious enough to make me stop and wonder.

I have been able to feel ovulation from when I was a teenager. It happens 10 days after my period without fail and is usually very painful for about 4 hours, I also ovulate on both sides most months. I said this to dh and he thought I was nuts! He doesn't now Grin

I felt a lightening zap and based on my temps that's when I implanted. Also my placenta is showing in the same area.

Yes. I posted about this the other day. It wasn't a woo/psychic/woolly thing. With all pregnancies I felt a sharp pinching pain at the point of implantation. It was a bit like a stitch type pain but right inside my uterus. Lasted about 15 minutes max. I also feel ovulation down to the swelling beforehand, the point of the egg releasing and the discomfort in my pelvic cavity afterwards (gynae said this is the slight bleed from ovulation escaping and irritating things). I can also feel where the corpus luteum attaches and could tell them before early scans that they'd find them and exactly where. I had a coil for a while and it was utter agony even though it was placed properly. I think you can just have a sensitive uterus.

I had it with my son. I wasn't trying to get pregnant (in fact actively trying not to!) so wasn't watching out for any 'signs'. I was getting ready to go out and suddenly got a dreadful pain in my uterus like I'd been stabbed. It was like the worst period pain I've ever felt - I couldn't stand. But it went away as quick as it came and I had a small amount of blood so assumed my period had arrived early. Obviously it didn't turn into my period and about a fortnight later I realised I was late....

I'm pregnant again but this time the baby was planned. I was on 'high alert' after ovulation but I didn't feel anything this time.

Yes! Well I definitely felt something. I don't know how it adds up with all the days or really what was going on biologically but I did feel a bit of an odd grumbly feeling for most of the day after I had had sex, I even told my husband I might be pregnant (it was our first try so thought it could be fanciful thinking) and then the next day I had some sudden really intense womb related pain - actually got off the tube and found a loo in kings X train station incase it was a period.
Managed to confirm the pregnancy a week before my period was due. I have no idea how these timings match up with what could have been happening biologically but my midwife definitely didn't believe me and chose to work with my estimate of when my last period had been for my due date which was three weeks later than the due date I estimated. Then my first scan put my baby at almost 16 weeks and the due date changed to only two days after my guess. This might well have more to do with my not having a clue when my last period was or what my cycle is like.

Dontforgetyourbrolly · 18/12/2014 19:19

Yes I had that but like some of the other posters I thought it was my period ( I had only come off the pill a couple of months back and had no real idea of my proper cycle ) , so I was easily confused.

So convinced it was my period but was a baby !

This happened to me last christnas! I actually went to the emergency doctors as I was doubled up in pain and thought I had appendicitis.
Was implantation and I am currently feeding my 3 month old ds. Never had this with 4 prev pregnancies.

Yes felt the funny pinching pain. I remember thinking oh brilliant I'm pregnant! 2 weeks later a negative test. A day later a positive! Dates perfectly match up. Everyone I've said it to thinks I'm an idiot.

So I thought that I was the only one , for some reason I knew I was going to get pregnant, I was super horny and my discharge was watery and my cervix felt soft , but I wasn't sure cuz It was my first time checking my cervix .. anyways I had sex with my partner and I just knew I was going to get pregnant , like I just kept saying to my self I'm going to get pregnant I just feel it. Anyways after that day we had sex like 3 days after and I was still feeling like I was sure I was going to be pregnant. Fast-forward till 2 days ago 3 days before my missed period I was at the store and because I swear I just knew I was pregnant I decided to buy 2 pregnancy test from the dollar store and I took one that night when I got and I noticed a very faint line so I was like omg am I really pregnant . I waited till the next morning to see if the line would be more noticeable but it wasn't but it still was there so the next day which is today I decided to get some more 2 digital clear blue and to Walmart brand plus and negative sign ones and all of them came back positive , I'm shook you guys

Hey, this has happened 3 out of 5 times for me. Right from conception I felt bloating and fluttering/churning cramps and absolutely knew I was pregnant - it was just a question of waiting two weeks until the positive test.

Twice I didn't have it and thought I was out but got the positive pregnancy test two weeks later.

I know people say it's not possible but I know what I felt and I was absolutely sure - and turned out to be right. I've never felt that when I didn't turn out pregnant.

GL on your pregnancy! x

Yes! I was sitting on the sofa next to my boyfriend after having sex I'm not sure how long it has been but it hadn't been long. And this feeling or call it intuition something came over me and I knew I was pregnant. I felt it not physically but I just knew. And I said in my boyfriend I think I'm pregnant. The reason I trusted one reason is I was only 14 I was young and naive. Also I've always been able to pick up on things feel things and know things before they happen. I can sense things. I don't know how to put it in words or how to explain it but I trust it.
