Pregnant and dry/sore throat at night

Anyone else got this? I'm 26 weeks and had this for a few weeks now. I'm not even sure if it's pregnancy related.

Basically my mouth/throat/nose feel all dry and sore every night when I'm asleep. It wakes me up, makes me snore or me snoring causes it. And it's seriously pissing me off.

Any suggestions? We don't have the heating on, I drink water all night long and nothing else has changed other than being pregnant. Don't remember this last time tho.

Is it burning sore? Reflux? I find I'm thirstier at night and also suffer from acid relux.

You're snoring. It's pregnancy rhinitis. Mine started at 17 weeks. I think all the extra blood and fluids puts pressure on the blood vessels around your nose and causes congestion. Therefore, you snore with your mouth open. Birth helps.....

I remember having the symptoms but I don't think I got to the bottom of the cause. I recall waking myself up snoring!
Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Thanks. So there's nothing I can do to help? Other than wait another 15 weeks or so then dream of the nights I was woken by snoring and not crying!

Having done a bit more reading I'm thinking of trying a humidifier.

I'm 7+4 and this was one of my earliest symptoms! Been waking up every morning with a tongue like a carpet, gross!

I'm trying to drink more before bed, but finding it hard as I'm so tired I just flop down under the duvet with a book or DVD...

HiI am 24 + 3 ive been to see the MW this morning and spoken about my dry mouth which you can see and she asked if I was still having Palpitations , funny as they have started up again . Anyway a dry mouth is not a normal symptom and with palpitations can mean something else in pregnancy so I have had to book an appointment with my GP . So maybe go see your gp like I am .

I get this too. I open a window, drink some water and feel much better. Think the bedroom gets stuffy and dry.

I get this, the most horrific dry tongue (but I know I sleep with my mouth open these days). I need water by my bed all night, I didn't used to take water to bed with me. I've even got up for a drip wee in the deep depths of the night and felt the need to brush my teeth whilst I'm in the bathroom.
