Was your test lines darker then with your ectopic?

I had one in March and found out I'm pregnant 5 days ago but my ectopic test was V v v faint (pink) and this one is v v v strong (blue) 2 days before my AF was due (will include pictures)

Just worried it's going to happen again so would love some reassurance from those who've had it and gone on to have another :)

I had one last November and am now 24 weeks pregnant. I was convinced this would be another ectopic. It's very stressful and terrifying, but just hang in there. Surely you get an early scan? I had one at five weeks and they confirmed the bean was in the right place. Sorry I can't help re tests - to be honest I don't think there is a solid pattern. Best of luck and let us know how you get on. x

I get scanned at 6 weeks on the 31st but it seems a lifetime away!

I was thinking about asking my GP to do a HCG blood test as last time they did one my levels were not doubling they were like 469 then 48 hours later 654 so not even close.

Im just worrying so much every time I go to the toilet I'm expecting blood

Those two weeks after BFP post ectopic were pure knicker watch. They were horrible, but I have two gorgeous post ectopic kids.
I'm not sure when HGC rates stop following a doubling pattern for an ectopic pregnancy. I suspect they won't take bloods yet without symptoms.
The odds are in your favour for a successful pregnancy. Hope the next 2 weeks aren't too tortuous, and you have good news on the 31st. Thanks

From my period tracker I found out on the 2/3 I had my first lots of bloods on the 5/3 and I started bleeding round 6-7/3 so I'm hoping onces I'm past them days I can not worry as much.

I'm just worried that I'm going to spend this whole time worrying about ectopic's/miscarriages and not enjoying it like I did with DS. I just want to be able to relax. Thank you for your kind words

I'm sorry for your ectopic addicted Thanks

I never actually tested positive on a home test when I had my ectopic - it's like the hormones weren't strong enough to pick up on a test. I only knew I was pregnant after a blood test at my GP's. With my next pregnancy (currently 39+4) it was a clear positive.

Hope this one goes well for you!

I'm newly pregnant again after an ectopic in April and a chemical last month. The difference this time is that my lines are super dark, whereas they were very weak with the previous two.

My scan's the day before yours. Good luck, it's a worrying time isn't it x
