Hi all

I'm 10+5 today and feeling absolutely not pregnant. I hadn't had huge amounts of symptoms anyway apart from tiredness and the occasional wave of nausea but no full on morning sickness but the few symptoms I did have seem to have tapered off over the past week to feeling completely normal today.

I had a scan at 7+4 and the heart was beating away so I know there's something in there! But I'm so paranoid Confused

At 10 weeks the few pregnancy symptoms I did have completely disappeared! I spoke with MW about it and she said that it's completely normal as placenta can start to take over from around 10 weeks so your body is doing less work. She also reminded me that symptoms have no bearing on how well the pregnancy is going and as a Mum of 5 she has never had any pregnancy symptoms at all!

I'm now 21 weeks with a very healthy little boy so she must have been right.

Waiting for the 12 weeks point is the longest and hardest wait in pregnancy so I know saying "relax" is just stupid, but I'm site everything is fine. Give your MW a quick ring if you're anxious and she'll put you at ease Thanks

All my symptoms disappeared about 11 weeks with first pregnancy and 13 weeks with 2nd - everything was absolutely fine. Placenta takes over at this point and lots of women feel better. I know it's so hard, but try not to worry, if you've not had pain or bleeding it's very unlikely anything is amiss.

Thank you ladies, it means SO much to hear things like that.

First trimester has my nerves frayed! Grin

When my mum was pregnant with me she didn't find out until she was 6 months gone. Honestly, she has no symptoms, no bump, nothing! Don't worry there is a huge chancw everything is perfectly fine :)

I'm currently expecting dc 3, all my symptoms went at 9 weeks (actually turned out to be 10.5 weeks as dates where changed after my 12 week scan). I just woke up one day and fancied a cup of tea - I'm a tea addict but couldn't touch the stuff in the early weeks.

I've had no symptoms other than tiredness and the odd spot of dizziness when getting up too quickly for about 4 weeks. Before that I only had the mildest waves of nausea, no actually sickness. Reckon i'm 10 or so weeks.

I know what you mean about the worry. Looking forward to scan in next couple of weeks. When preg with DD I also had no symptoms but because I knew next to nothing about pregnancy and hadn't read stuff about sickness potentially equalling a well established preg bla bla bla I wasn't concerned.

Roll on scan time. Would have organised an early one privately but what with the extension, relatives and holiday I've not had time to even think about it.
