Pregnancy

Half way there!

I'm loving pregnancy but I am so glad I am half way through (20+2) and can now start to prepare and relax. 1st trimester was tough but I think that was due to an undiagnosed illness but now that I'm back on track pregnancy has been so much easier. I've finally been able to take off my seasick bands as my nausea has gone. I'm actually feeling normal and "not pregnant" if that makes any sense. I have no bump yet despite this being #7 and baby is a night owl which is sometimes annoying when I'm drifting off but otherwise I can sleep through. I am so glad this pregnancy seems to be easy.

Anyone else enjoying the 2nd trimester?

I'm half way tomorrow! I'm loving finally having a decent bump and getting the odd little wriggle (Very muffled, anterior placenta, but definitely there).

Still waiting for the glowing skin, fantastic hair and boundless energy!

Can't believe we're half way, looking back it's flown by, I love being pregnant and I'd like this bit to last a bit longer before I get all massive and achey Grin

Have you had your scan yet? Got mine booked for next Friday, can't wait to see the little wriggler again.

Babycentre tells me I'm half way there but think I've got another week to go by most people's standards. I'm 19+1. I'm enjoying the second trimester so much more than the first. Decent bump, less naesea and general bleurgh and starting to feel all slightly more real! Only downside is I'm not feeling a huge amount of movement, think I'm going to be told I have an anterior placenta at my 20 week scan. Scan is next Tuesday and really can't wait :)

I'm 19 weeks and looking forward to singing along to Bon Jovi next week.. wooah we're halfway there! (Just me??) Don't have my scan until week after when I'll be 21 weeks which I kind of like because I'll be having less weeks to go than I've done and for some reason that feels good! I've been really lucky nausea and sickness stopped by the time I was 17 weeks so I'm enjoying feeling fairly normal and trying not to think about when it gets worse. The only thing I am still struggling with is the incredible bloating by night time bump is big and uncomfortable and it's just bloat. As in mornings I barely have a bump at all. Generally I just can't wait for January so I'm still counting down the weeks. Smile

Had my scan today - still a boy! :) However they're concerned with his sized so got to have 2 weekly scans. Because I've had small babies they don't want to make assumptions and since he has grown, they want to know if he's slowing down or just going at a slow pace. Everything else is fine.

My bump just looks like I'm a little bloated. I still fit in my jeans and t-shirts. Hoping I spring one soon! :)

I'm glad everyone is enjoying it so far. I always think the 20w scan is the most nervewrecking and so glad it's over.

I'm 19weeks today, scan next Friday, I can't wait to see baby again!!

I've had a relatively easy first trimester, this is my first pregnancy and I'm really enjoying it Grin I'm due 30th Jan. Seems so far being next year, but it's gone so quick up until now so I know it isn't that far away!

Need to get some lists written and start buying stuff! X

23rd Jan here!

Soooo excited to go baby shopping post-scan. We're not spending a fortune, so lots of stuff we're getting second-hand, but I really want to buy a super cute going home outfit.

Mine's 19th Jan.

I really don't need to buy anything but I want a cute 1st outfit too (homebirth) for the birth announcement cards.

DH has been completely overbearing today. I only wanted a Starbucks, you'd think I had agreed to go sumo wrestling... Hmm.

Good luck, Narth!

I find them daunting always thinking that they're going to find something wrong, and they did last year, and now growth scans again :(

Anybody finding out gender or are you wanting to keep it a surprise? I was too impatient to be surprised Grin

23rd Jan here too ! Had my scan the other day. Went fine had a trainee who was lovely but scan lasted an hour with her doing bits then the sonographer taking over etc. I was almost falling asleep at the end the room was so warm and dark!
They thought they saw a problem with his bowel but after a senior person came in the room they said it was the equipment and all is fine.

Planning on telling DS 2.5 in a few weeks. Have a book that is supposed to help explain it all but DH is dissapointed I didn't get him the 'where willy went' story we saw the other day!
Wishing everyone else a easy second half Smile

Fab news Natharley!

We're not finding out. I'm going to have burst with excitement by January! Was hoping to be as far away from Chrimbo as possible, but SIL has just booked her wedding for 21st Feb, so now hoping I'm at least on time so I can have a boogie without my stitches rubbing Grin!!
