Hi ladies, not sure if there is already a post for this, but thought it'd be nice to have a spot for all September due dates to keep each other company through the last slog! I'm due September 15th (36 weeks & 6 days). I've had a few scares that this lil one may arrive early! and then there are the other times trying to gear myself up for the long wait. This is DC2, my first one was 8 days over the DD. I'm tired, in pain, have an itchy belly, and am ready to be done being pregnant ... But we're almost there!!

5th September but dc1 was 12 days late! So uncomfortable so hoping it's any day now, had no signs of that though.

We are having an Induction on Sep 13th at 38 weeks, this is DC2. DD was sadly still born at full term last summer (completely freak event, the consultant had to look it up!). So about 20days to go for me! Am lucky as it hasn't been too bad a pregnancy compared to some poor ladies i have read about on these threads who have had a really rotten time. Am completely unprepared but it would be nice to have some ladies to keep company with while we all wait to go pop!

Induction day is next monday. EEEK.

How are you feeling? This is DC3 and I am feeling crap. Felt fine until Thursday and since have had a return of ms, can eat about 1 or 2 different things, having more frequent tightenings, and seriously exhausted. I haven't left the house in days.

allisgood poor you! You sound like a woman who has had enough now! Best of luck with your induction on Monday, (am very jealous!) is this your first induction or were you induced with your other DCs?

Hi eatscones, I'm also 36+6. This is baby #3 and has been a great pregnancy I have to say.
There is a September antenatal group but I don't have time to keep up with it but browsed and some babies have arrived Grin

Whats wrong with the thread that already exists?

Do we all smell?

Report
allisgood1 · 24/08/2014 18:11

ruby thanks. 8 days to go. I have to keep telling myself that without getting into a tiz that on the day they say they are too full

I didn't make induction with number 1 (came the night before), number 2 was induced at 37+4 and took 16 hours start to finish.

I really don't want to make this induction. Sweep on Wed ignoring that I may very well not be favorable and acupuncture Thurs. Need to regain some energy and go walking 3-4 hours every day starting tomorrow!!

What DC is this for you?

red there are too many people on the exsisting thread. I posted there when I first was pregnant about three times and was ignored completely :( It just moves too fast!!

No one bites I promise!

Thanks for the responses! I checked out the antenatal thread scaevola, thanks for sharing it. Sounds a few are ready to go here! So exciting! I agree I'm a little jealous of your induction date allisgood, but glad they are looking after you! It is good to hear you've had a good pregnancy this far rubyshoes and foodieMum3. It is nice to know some woman do 'glow' when pregnant! Mine are always pretty rubbish (well this is my 2nd) and I always get super sick.. But almost there! And wagamama here is to not having overdue babies second time around Smile

The September thread does move quickly, but do come and join in anyway!

I'm due on the 2nd. Can't wait!

I'm due sept 3rd and ready for it to be over now! This is DC 2

Report
allisgood1 · 24/08/2014 19:45

Ella and anyone else who has been induced: how did the protocol work at your hospital? I have to call between 8-8:30 and will either 1) be given a time to come in 2) told to come now or 3) be told they will call back when theres space. I am now freaking that it will end up option 3, I'll get there and settled and then they'll be like "oh its too late now, go to sleep on this noisy ward and we will start you tomorrow"-- in which case I will leave! With dd2, it was private so I called and they said "come when you're ready but don't rush". Is NHS vastly different?

Is the September thread the one posted by Scaevola at the top of this page?? Sorry Red I didn't know of the Sept thread previously, I saw some August and Oct ones on the pregnancy one and just wanted some company this last lil bit! Thanks for being welcoming Smile.

I'm due on September 21st with baby number 3 (my other two are 11 year old b/g twins who start secondary school next week).

I am really looking forward to baby arriving - I had forgotten the joys of late pregnancy - and have really had enough now. Plus I can't wait to meet him !

How are you ladies doing?

My contractions have ramped up the past couple days. Sweep tomorrow but am dreading "it can't be done and you are no where near ready" news...

Report
Eatscones · 26/08/2014 19:50

I've been better than the last little while ... contractions have all stopped and not as much shooting pain down south. Still uncomfortable and lumbering around but nothing to indicate imminent labour ... allisgood1 sounds like you are getting ready to go!
