Exactly what the title says, I'm 37 weeks today due a c section in 1 week 6 days but the last couple days I've had period pains not huge niggly ones! But hate them anyway! Just racked up slightly today. My body didn't have a clue with ds and I went 15 days over ended in c section. Is this normal should I tell mws should I panic. Baby moving fine no loss or waters going etc. Dnt want to waste ne1s time the pain is quite low down behind pubic bone and where my c section scar is. It might just be her pressure as my ds never engaged properly! Help

Hiya I'm 37+3 and I've been having period pains on and off from 36 weeks and it doesn't seem to be doing very much so I wouldn't worry about it unless they get stronger or you get another sign of imminent labour Smile

I asked the doc about this at my last appointment as I've been getting period type pains for past couple of weeks (currently 38+5). Like you, I had a c-sec last time around and don't remember period type pains in the run up to labour. Anyway, doc said not to worry, and that it's a sign that your baby is engaging.
