Pregnancy

20weeks-Braxton hicks or baby having a wriggle??

So, I'm a couple of days off the half way mark. For a while now I've been feeling movement then a hard lump(baby) 'stick out' on the right side of my bump. This is uncomfortable rather than painful. Makes me feel like I need to pee!
I'd always just assumed this was the baby having a stretch but maybe it's BH?
Anyone care to shed some light?
Believe it or not, this is my 3rd baby! I vaguely recall something like this with them but not this early...

Sounds like a kick - I think after other pregnancies your muscles are stretchy and react more to kicks earlier!

I get a feeling a bit like this and for me I don't think it is a kick as they feel different, for me the hardness sticks around for a minute or so. The best way I could describe it was that it felt like the baby was standing up and stretching it's head up into my abdomen and then staying there for a while! Also then it happened when i was lying on my back and my belly went a weird dome shape. I mentioned it to my midwife and she said it was probably BH. I've read you can feel them earlier with each pregnancy too (this is my first).

Moggle you've described it pretty well there! I'm feeling lots of kicks but this is just weird. Mainly happens when I'm sitting up in bed or driving(inconvenient!) I'm seeing my MW in an hour so will see what she says... Thanks for replying ladies :)

Sounds like Braxton Hicks, the dome thing happened to me too. Didn't realise it was Braxton Hicks until it happened midway through an ante-natal appointment and the midwife confirmed it.
