SPD and braxton hicks

Any advice on SPD and braxton hicks? Started getting hicks about 2 weeks ago and they're steadily getting stronger - worried about the stress and strain on my muscles, can it cause further damage? What can I do to help?

I have not had bh, but have had spd since about 20 weeks and this is the advice i was given by physio, sleep with a pillow between your knees to help keep your hips in line, dont do anything that involves moving your knees too far spart i.e swivel in and out of the car with your knees together, not sitting cross legged etc... pelvic floor exercises religiously (although i must admit that went by the wayside!). If one side is worse than the other, go up and down stairs one at a time on your better leg. Stop when it hurts! Rest and dont push yourself beyond the pain. Dont stand on one leg to get dressed. The bhs shouldnt make it worse as it is different muscles but see how you go, if you adhere to the above then it should limit things progressing.
Hope it helps!

Thankyou =) I've been taking things day by day, pollows definitly hep at night, end up with a couple sometimes, fed up of fidgeting all the time though - the pain just builds if I don't move - the list of things I seem less able to do is gradually building too which I find unbelievably frustrating lol Must admit a major bug for me is worrying about whether the combination of SPD and the graduating brixton hicks will add up to an early arrival for baby? (Have a few problems with adrenaline/anxiety too which adds to it and becomes a whole new world of fun! lol)

Will just have to wait and see!! Thankyou though, feel like I'm going in the right direction anyway, have had much less input from midwives etc this time round, not sure if thats just normal or not so every bit of advice helps!! =) xx
