Hi, New here and wondering if anyone could help.
We have just found out I am pregnant with our first child, about 4 weeks.
I have an amazing GP who I don't want to leave but they are 40 minutes drive away (there are loads of closer ones). I would like an NHS midwife closer to me but I don't want to have to leave my current GP to sign on to another. Most people I speak to say this is not possible and I will have to sign up to a local GP. Only other option is a private midwife but we cannot afford it.
Anyone had this problem and successfully solved it? Any advice as to how to go about it?
