Theist few says the middle and the top of my back have been really hurting me. I'm 25 weeks pregnant and not particularly big. Anyone else had the same?

I'm the same so able to empathise. Thanks I'm 30 weeks pregnant now. I've had lower back pain for years (old slipped disc injury) but only since being pregnant am experiencing middle back pain. Do you find it's worse in the morning when you get up? Am awaiting a physio assessment but until then not much I can do until then except take paracetamol. How are you managing? xx

I had back pain in my fist pg, I found sleeping with a bolster pillow along the length of my body that I could hug with my arms and legs worked great. Also heat packs on my back, I also bought a bump support which really helped. Untill I coughed too hard one day and pulled a muscle in my ribs, and it went into spasm, so much pain!

I've had back pain along my bra line throughout. it seems to just be easing now at 37 w, I suppose I was carrying high and he's dropped a bit. it's terrible, my sympathies.

Also 25 weeks and have back pain. Especially worse when I notice LO is positioned in the back. When she is more up front than it is not so bad.. But I also have a 10 month old son who does not want to crawl.. Bought him a baby walker as he just wanted to walk around all the time, with me holding him by his hands..

I find my pregnancy pillow seems to help me a bit. May be worth a try if you don't have one yet? xx

thank GOODNESS it's not just me. have had pretty much since finding out I was pg. Started across bra line/between shoulder blades, now it seems to drift around and is up in my shoulder blades more often that not. I'm 20 weeks and don't have a bump yet, so suspect I'm carrying everything up in my ribcage too - I did with DS, I remember, though don't think I got too much back pain with him. Also, breasts have gone from a C cup to a G cup, so suspect that's not helping. It's GRIM though, just hoping it goes away post-labour!

ps mine's actually ok in the mornings, when I first wake up - it kicks in as soon as I start to do stuff..
