Cold & flu tablets, what can I take? Help!

I am 34 weeks gone, and have the most horrendous cold/sore throat/headache etc etc. Tried to have a nice early night, laid awake til 4.30am (by which point crazy pregnancy hormones were kicking in and making everything worse!) so now completely knackered on top of everything else Hmm

Is there anything I can take to help it? Paracetomol isn't cutting it and I just feel bloody awful Confused

Honey, lemon and ginger all in hot water. Works better than anything - used to be a real pill-popper when it came to colds but now I use this even when not pregnant as it's so effective.

A nurse told me all you can take is paracetamol. I had a raging cold last week but persevered :(

Went to the pharmacist for the same thing this week. She said nothing but Vicks Vapour Rub to help with congestion. Day off, honey and lemon and eventually becoming so exhausted I fell asleep kind of did it for me, although still a bit bunged up 3 days later.

You can also have lockets for sore throat (little consolation I know). Hope you feel better soon
