irrational nervousness all of a sudden

Hi just looking for a little reassurance and hand holding really. Have not slept well and woken up irrationally anxious about what is a routine high risk clinic appointment (by routine I mean this is my 4th). Not even sure what I'm nervous about this time round but just suddenly feel a bit anxious. 30 weeks tomorrow

I felt very nervous before my 20 week scan, no idea why, I wasn't nervous at all at my 12 week scan.

Are you awaiting any specific news? Is your appointment today?

I'm 30 weeks too and I've noticed in the last week that my emotions are even more volatile than earlier in pregnancy - I suspect it's hormones kicking up another notch as we get into the home strait! Hope your appointment goes well.

30 weeks today and spent yesterday crying in a heap over nothing for several hours... Does that count?

Had a fresh delivery of hormones here too at 29 1/2 weeks. Been very anxious in general and feeling quite odd. No concerns about baby though and I'm lucky enough to not have consultant appointments. Hope all goes well X

Thanks

Been there! Yeah, they can make you so nervous even when they're routine. Got a letter yesterday with the big cheese's name on it ... had a panic "why does she want to see me? Am I incurably ill? Is the baby?" ... nope it's a computerised letter, they must all have her name because she's at the clinic that day. Grin
