Strange bruised/sore area around pelvic bone

For the last few days I've had a tender area of skin at the top of my bits, just on the right hand side. I woke up this morning and it feels like I've been kicked there, like it's bruised. There's nothing at all visible from the outside (that I can see) but even just walking hurts. It's not muscular or to do with the bone, it's very much the skin. Anyone any ideas what it could be...?

Vulval varicose vein? Beginning of spd? Neither a glamorous option but both manageable and usually cured by giving birth.

SPD. It's yuck op.

Get to a Physio as soon as you can. They can give you exercises and a support belt.

Really helped me and as promised by the Physio (who I didn't believe) it was gone by the time I got onto the ward after having dd 2 hours beforehand.

Uh oh... You've said the two things I was dreading! Can it be spd? I thought that would feel more like joints or ligament pain? But it is feeling worse the more I'm standing today...

Does it hurt to stand (or jump) on one leg? If so that's classic spd symptoms, and most of the physio tips will involve avoiding standing on one leg and keeping your knees together at night.

If you have no symptoms at night and it feels worse the longer you stand and is relieved by sitting or lieing down then I suspect veins, and sadly not much you can do about them.

How many weeks are you? I had both (joy!) It's not much fun but symptoms did not get too bad
