Hi
Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this before. I am 32 weeks and just been for a scan to check the position of the placenta as at 20 week scan was low lying. The position of the placenta is fine now but on the scan they noticed a shadow on the placenta. The sonographer was not sure what it meant either so they sent me up to the ward to be put on the monitor. The midwife was not sure either but I am being referred to a consultant.
Has anyone ever heard of this before?
