How do I book the labour ward tour? Tried 3 different numbers and none work!

I'm also under JCUH and have a letter titled 'Ready for Labour?' They have a number which is actually physio department but they may be able to help you. Its 01642 854453. Hope this helps x

I think they do tours closer to your due date - have you signed up for the antenatal classes? (I got the letter with my 12 week scan stuff) I think it may be part of that?

I'm still no further on, everyone I get through to doesn't want to help and the number on the website won't work, nightmare! I'm 34 weeks but my midwife hasn't mentioned any antenatal stuff so I'm just assuming I have to sort it on my own. Will try giving her a ring tomorrow

I had to to go for an appointment and while i was there i went into the low dependency bit and asked to be shown round. They werent busy so a lovely midwife took me round and had a chat with me. I didnt even think of a tour. I wouldnt have bothered at all but i was so early for an appointment that i needed something to do. As it was things didnt go to plan so i never got a glimpse of the unit!!

It might be worth just going in and asking. I said i was happy to pop back later if they were busy but they were free so did it there and then. They couldnt have been more helpful. Hope you manage to get sorted Smile
