So, on Tuesday I begin the third trimester. Through the second I have felt quite well apart from increased tiredness in the last week or so. How have you ladies felt in the final trimester? Any particular symptoms?

My sickness returned just before the start of the 3rd trimester. I'm also really shattered 95% of the time from the interrupted sleep, extra weight and so on. I just keep reminding myself why I'm doing this. Fingers crossed you'll be glowing Smile

Week 35 here, after surviving hyperemsis til week24 I now have killer heartburn, daily pains shooting up my fanjo, sciatica, crusty sore leaky nipples, the need to urinate about 8 times a night and constant fatigue and jumpy legs which drive me to my bed at 8pm every night.

Welcome to the 3rd trimester OP Grin

Did I forget to mention the constipation? ?

28wks, like you ladies soooo extremely tired, can't get comfortable anywhere in bed, when I do get to sleep I snoring so loud I wake myself, heartburn that burns my throat, starving hungry but no bloody room to fit the food in, down ward pressure that's so intense I have to quickly cross my legs in fear the baby is going to fall out Wink & the most extreme mood swings that go from uncontrollable giggling/laughing to hysterical crying... Oh I love being pregnant....

I'm 32 weeks and actually feeling better than i did a few weeks ago.

Heartburn has gone away. Aches and pains seem to have died down now. I'm still tired in the evening but that is the same as before.

No new symptoms except kicks and movements are more stronger and sometimes a bit painful.

Sleeping better once again also.

So overall feeling ok :)

29+5...not feeling too terrible apart from the after-lunch slump when I just want to sleep and sleep. DH took DD out on Saturday so I could nap and I slept for 3 hours and only woke up when they came home again at 6pm.

Intermittent acid reflux

Thrush - which I passed on to DH, oops. Never had it before and was really annoyed with myself for some reason!

SPD - am getting off much more lightly in this pg than the last, probably because I went to private physio at 18 weeks who realigned my hips. Best ÂŁ37 I ever spent. I have also been resolutely not hoovering and making DH carry heavy stuff wherever possible. So I have intermittent hip/bum pain but nothing like it was between 12 and 18 weeks, despite me being so much bigger now.

Sometimes my whole abdomen just feels like it might crack, it's so full, which doesn't really compute given that I've got another 8 weeks to go until my ELCS. I think the baby must be stretching out when I feel like that, because it's not all the time, or possibly it's after I've just eaten too much.

Feeling sick when I get thirsty - I'm crap at drinking enough, and then suddenly I'll start to feel really sick and dizzy until I drink some water. Need to get better at just drinking so I never get the dehydrated feeling.

Getting too tired to handle 2yo DD - she just wants to climb on me all the freaking time, and I can only take so much and then I get grumpy and snap at her. Sad

Tired and feeling pretty cumbersome and uncomfortable.

I don't have any heartburn though- for those suffering please go to your doctor about it- there are medicines to treat it that are perfectly safe and not available over the counter so there is no need to suffer.

30 weeks today - I have pains in my hips and pelvis, heartburn, extreme tiredness, grumpiness, complete inability to sleep (last night I got up to pee at 2:15 and was still awake at 4:30). I am pretty much unable to carry my toddler as my increased weight plus his weight just breaks me. And I am counting down the days until I stop working!

29 weeks here.

My only real issue at the minute is really bad backache right down at my coccyx. Aggravated by any walking whatsoever.

NO heartburn! At all. Not once. By this stage of my pregnancy with DD I was swigging Gaviscon by the pint!

29 weeks today and starting to feel like a giant whale.

Currently experiencing heavy legs, painful ankle, itching all over, heavy belly, hip, back and bum ache, waking to pee in the night, and uncomfortable in every position.

Also getting intermittent constipation which left me stuck in a restaurant toilet for over 30 mins at the weekend and has given me piles.

Joy.

I must be doing ok. Get heartburn occasionally but nothing that a bit of free medicine from the doctor won't sort. Little bit if backache and tired if I over do things. Other than that things still going well Grin (32 weeks today)

29 weeks here - heartburn starting from after breakfast and getting worse throughout the day, luckily gaviscon usually does the trick! Also tiredness is back, horrible leg cramps dome nights, lack of ability to sleep, lying awake all night it the worst thing ever!

32 weeks here and I've had a lovely pregnancy so far with no real discomforts...as the weeks go on though I'm getting 'rib flare' every single evening without fail which is sore Hmm and quite uncomfortable sleeping in general. Waking to pee at least once a night but it was 2 or 3 times a night so that's actually an improvement! Think I'd be ok at night if I had a king size bed to myself with loads of room to stretch & spread out though Smile (considering telling DH to sleep in the spare room!)
My appetite has increased a bit more, I felt like I barely ate much through the day in the 2nd trimester.
Walking any long distance is quite hard now, and I can't go more than an hour max without needing a wee, I have to plan ahead a lot if I'm going out anywhere and figure out where the nearest toilet is!
Giant bump getting in the way and difficult to bend down/over & put shoes & socks on is getting a bit hard!
