braxton hicks

I'm 22 weeks with DC2 and have been having what feels like braxton hicks on and off all day,coupled with baby sitting really quite low and kicking quite hard. Is it normal to have them so consistently and so early?!?! Don't remember them until about 34/45 weeks last time and I'm sure they didn't last all day!

For what it's worth I had them throughout both my pregnancies. I remember having them at 18 weeks onwards. With my second baby I was sure I'd have an early baby but was actually induced at 41 weeks. I think I was more aware of my body as mine was an ivf pregnancy.
