Hi everyone I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant with my second dc. With my first I had morning sickness the whole way through, every single day without fail but it actually feel like it didn't effect me much and I felt ok!
This time I didn't so much have regular morning sickness it was more nausea in the first trimester which was horrible but again just dealt with it, went through feelings of dizziness etc in second trimester but all was fine of the whole.
About 4 weeks ago though I just suddenly started feeling very very sick. Like I'd eaten something that didn't agree with me? Constant burps that smelled and tasted like rotting eggs which then led to throwing up. Made a drs appointment and he said it was a bug so had a few days off work then felt okish. Since then though it's been on and off and I've had several trips to the hospital due to not being able to keep anything down. This last week the nausea etc has been constant as well as what feels like a constant head ache.
The dr at the hospital said it sounded like I was just digesting my good extra slowly so the food on my stomach was basically rotting (leading to the smell etc) but couldn't actually so anything for me bar prescribing laxatives (I already have a dodgy stomach most of the time so really not much help).
It's now gotten so bad that I'm just sick several times a day. Doesn't matter what I eat or drinks it always has the same effect. I can't lay down flat because I feel the terrible nausea come on straight again causing me to be sick again so I'm having to sleep almost sitting up which is then giving me back ache .
I just don't know what to do. I'm sat here in tears after another night of hardly any sleep. My head hurts and I'm just so fed up. I just want my baby here now, I want to look at him and see that it was all worthwhile (because deep down I know it is) but right now I just feel so shit
