Moses basket dressing?

Hiya I have a beautiful moses basket but the dressing really needs renewing. The only place iv found online that sell the dressing only is elegant baby and I don't like what Confused they have available.
Really don't want to buy a new moses any ideas?

Thank you

Would the wicker look bad without anything on it?
Do you know anyone that could make one for you?

Havnt even thought about having nothing on it - although it does have a hood so that would look odd unless I can take the hood off as well. Will have to take it apart tomorrow & see - thank you good idea.
Unfortunately I don't know any crafty people that could make one

They're not hard to make even if you're not crafty. The amount of fabric you use is minimal so if you mess it up, it won't matter, but I'd recommend you give it a go. That way you can have exactly what you want!

I agree with hubster try making your own. It's not that hard and that way you can choose your fabrics. If you aren't too confident, does anyone you know good at sewing? I'm sure they would love to help teach you how to do it, and before you know it, you'll be knee deep in fabric!!! oh no, I just bought another 4 meters of fabric

Other place to try is etsy - tend to find handmade or custom items there

I'm not a good crafter either, but babies are in the baskets for such a short time, honestly, it's worth a go!

If the hood is ok or you can manage without it, babies r us have these liner sets which look quite good. I saw them in a store and I was surprised how cheap they were. Hope the link works as I'm on a tablet!

Link didn't work but looked up the liners they are fab.
Also worked out if you search Moses basket covers rather than dressing on eBay you get a million more options.
Thanks for your help everyone

If it's of any use I have a plain white waffle fabric moses basket liner from John Lewis which I was about to chuck out (as the basket itself is used for laundry these days!) and would be happy to give away for free. Sadly I don't have the hood any more, but pm me if you're interested. I'll keep hold of the liner for a few more days just in case.
