Pregnant but don't feel it

I know it's early as I just got my positive pregnancy test on Thursday but I can't help worrying at the fact that I have no pregnancy symptoms yet.

Is this common, especially that I am only about 3 weeks pregnant? If so when did you start getting any symptoms?

I know that once I get any I will probably be wishing them away!

The only symptoms I had at around 3 weeks (before I knew I was pregnant) were very mild cramps which I mistook for the onset of my period. Apart from that, my breasts didn't start to get consistently sore until about week 5 and I didn't feel nauseous until week 6.

I would maybe take a test again when your period is due. If it's still positive, keep in mind that it's the very early stages and physical symptoms are probably just around the corner.

It's nothing to worry about. Some people have lots of symptoms, some people don't. You really can't read anything in to it.

I found out at 3+3 and didn't have symptoms until about 5 or 6 weeks....then I endured every symptom under the sun until about 12 weeks where they eased off again. I read the symptoms start when the hormones get to a certain level - hence them often starting at around 6 weeks!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

hi, im 13wks with my first and make the most of no symptoms cos they will come. i didnt even know i was pregnant til i was 4 or 5 wks and in hindsight the only symptom i had before then was excess saliva. after i found out i got morning sickness everyday but (touch wood) iv been pretty lucky with symptoms so far so im enjoying it while it lasts. i finally hav my first scan on monday so ill know all is well :)

someone suggested testing again but its extremely rare to get a false positive so i wouldnt worry.

its very early you may soon get many or few symtoms everyones different so as i say just enjoy this part...its the calm before the storm.

congratulations, dont stress just enjoy :)

I had no symptoms ! In fact so much so, that I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 14 weeks. I had to have a dating scan and everyone was amazed that I had a proper foetus there as I had missed all first trimester symptoms.

I am now 17 weeks and have a little bump, plus can feel baby kicking sometimes. But if it wasn't for that, I still wouldn't feel pregnant - I still struggle to believe it.

So its still early days for you - but you could be lucky and miss all symptoms like I have !

I am 10 weeks pregnant and had very few symptoms. Only that I was ttc and obsessed with my cycle dates did i know i was pregnant early, because otherwise, im not sure i would know im pregnant even now. My tum is starting to feel more solid and rounded (under my spare tyre ;), but otherwise im feeling great! Eagerly awaiting my 12 week scan to makesure all going well! I did have an early scan as i was going on a long flight, to make sure all was ok, and I seen the heartbeat :)

Best wishes everyone xx

I'm only 4+4 and 48 hours ago was saying the same thing, however when I woke up yesterday morning, the law of sad had been enacted, now the only thing I'm missing is the bump.
Insomnia, check.
Sore boobs, check.
No appetite, check.
Constipated and trapped wind, check and check (this is the worst one)
And can keep nothing down, sadly, check.

Give it time. It's weird, but without these things you really start to doubt that second line.
You just have to wait for the hormones to double and then you'll feel it and feel a lot better. Or you could be lucky and have none of these.
If you're dude in December hop over to ante natal board where we have a December due thread going.
We can be crazy together.
