Second baby or not!?

Hello all - am very happy one-child mum (DD is 3 y old) but am old (48y) (and DH even older!!) and worried only child will have long life with no family but herself. DH against having another one - says all perfect now why risk another one. Probably feel the same but nagging feeling that it is not the right decision. Anybody out there been through this phase and went on to second anyway? Any 'regrets'? xx

CheesyBadge - what are your reasons for not having a second? just interested in other peoples thought processes while I finalise mine!
