So for the last week or so I've had on and off left hip pain- if I had to describe it it feels like someone is trying to pull my hip out of joint and it's a bit sore if I press in my groin.
28 weeks tomorrow- just wonders if this sounds like the beginnings of pelvic girdle pain or SPD? Am praying not!! Any experience?

Sorry to be the voice of doom but that is exactly how mine started! Get a physio referral as soon as possible. I was lucky and got in the next week but I believe sometime you have to wait a bit. For me the physio itself wasn't that great but she did give me good advice about how to get in and out of bed and the car and just moving in general. Also I believe aqua natal is really good I couldn't do it as I had a toddler and no one could look after her on that particular morning, but I've heard that it can really help HTH :)

I have the same as 30+4 but it's been that way since week 18 or so and hasn't got any worse. It might not escalate if you take care. I haven't seen a physio etc but make sure I don't do the things that make it "ouchy" and sleep with pillow between my knees, get im and out of car in ridiculously ladylike fashion etc.

Good luck.

The description of your pain sounds like mine that started this week (except mine is in the right hip). I'm only 18+5 Sad . I will be keeping an eye on this post.

Sounds like PGP, unfortunately :/ A pillow between the legs and a maternity slide sheet during the night works great for me. I tried physio but acupuncture helped more. You have to take it easy, any activity will increase the pain.
