Well I'm 40 weeks tomorrow but since I've woken up I feel really nauseas and I keep gagging sad the thought of food makes me want to be sick, and I can only just stomach water. I had some juice when I woke up which I managed but now all I can sip on is water. I'm sort of scared to eat as I really don't want to throw it up. is this normal this late in the day? I'm feeling pretty exhausted too, and can't be bothered to get dressed blush

bump

I'm 40+6 and have spent a lot of this week dry heaving and haven't eaten much. I've felt awful most of the week, I did last time once I hit 40 weeks too.

On the other hand you could be getting ready for the baby to arrive. smile Fingers crossed.

Well I managed some brunch and a light snack. so weird as all throughout my 3rd trimester I've eaten like a horse!

I know you are gagging to go into labour but it could just as easily be an off day! smile

K8eee Sat 22-Mar-14 18:30:44

Greentshirt how did you know grin grin

I've been the same K8eee, but this week I've lived on apples and caramel eggs!

K8eee Sat 22-Mar-14 19:37:29

Ah caramel eggs!!! I am envious envy thankfully I have got my appetite back and managed turkey stroganoff for dinner.

Oh shock confused are you being induced this week?

Yes, I'm booked in for Wednesday, I'll be 40+10. Very nervous! Do you feel like you're close? Are you having a sweep this week?

98percentchocolate Sat 22-Mar-14 21:01:40

I felt awful the day before I went into labour - this may be a good sign!

K8eee Sat 22-Mar-14 21:18:03

Good luck for Wednesday unless it happens before! smile well I've got an appt at the mw Tuesday not sure if they do a sweep there and then or later in the week confused

Thank you smile

It varies between primary care trusts I think. Here they do one on your due date, but others don't offer one.

Any news?

K8eee Sun 23-Mar-14 09:20:54

No envy am going to trying and do a lot of.moving about today see if that's of any help confused

Are you feeling any better?

K8eee Sun 23-Mar-14 15:59:11

Yeah a lot better thanks smile a friend of mine has suggested I eat a really hot curry confused apparently because it gives you the thing of an upset stomach the spasms can start things off

I had a curry the night I went into labour last time, but I'd already had about 40 curries in days before that!

Glad you're feeling better.

K8eee Sun 23-Mar-14 18:19:33

Well I've suggested it to dh and he's well up for me giving anything a go blush we've tried having sex but that triggered nothing angry we're going to cinema in a sec so maybe the loudness of that might startle it into action followed by a hot curry and guaranteed toilet trips in the morning maybe it will do something. I can but try. how are you feeling?

We've tried lots of sex. Always worth trying again wink

I'm ok thanks, very uncomfortable but resigned to my Wednesday induction!

K8eee Mon 24-Mar-14 00:15:41

Let me know how it goes! I have a feeling I'm going to be left hanging here for an induction too sad

yeah true, and it keeps dh happy as well I suppose grin especially as he shan't be allowed there anytime soon after the birth blush

May be a sign of impending labour.
My very close friend had nausea and food aversion with all 3 of her babies in the last week.

I will let you know. It's early in the overdue process for you, it's still more likely you'll go on your own, don't worry.

my appetite isn't as much as it was before I felt funny the other day, but I've just got in from having a walk around the shops with dh, and a couple of ladies have commented that im still carrying quite high.
