When will I feel baby move..?

This is my 2nd pregnancy. I felt dd move from around 18 weeks and had heard that I would feel movements with cd2 sooner..I'm now around 16 weeks and am a bit concerned.

I did feel what felt like movement a week or so ago (like a trapped butterfly iykwim) but nothing since.

I am also slightly over weight having not lost baby weight from dd 15 months ago.
Any advice.? Should I be concerned.? I am still suffering with sickness and tiredness so presume all is ok.?

I never felt DD (third child) move until after the 20 week scan. It was just the position she was in that prevented me feeling her earlier. If you are concerned, get your GP or MW to have a listen - I always felt quite relieved to hear the heartbeat even though I was sure it was fine.

I think the thinner you are the sooner you can feel movement and vice versa. Babies can be so different. Ds didn't move very much my entire pregnancy. This one is moving more. You just never know.

I felt flutterings of movement at around 17weeks with my ds but am now 18weeks pg with #2 and have yet to feel anything (felt a flutter y'day but it turned out to be wind!! . I try not to worry too much, especially as some people say that they don't feel any movements until about 20 or 21 weeks.

It's hard not to be a bit anxious but like others have said, if you've heard the heartbeat/ been for your scan and been told that everything's fine then I'm sure you've got nothing to worry about.

thanks everyone..having had x2 mc's before dd I still get anxious. The scan at 13 weeks was fine and showed all was ok. Now just 4 weeks to wait till the next meet..!!

It helps speaking to people in the same situation as pregnancy sites don't always help as they tend to give you more worrying info..!

I felt it at 18 weeks with dd1, 15 weeks with the twins and 12 weeks with dd3 but this time I didn't feel anything till at least 17-18 weeks. Now 21 weeks and only had strong movements for a week or so

By the way.....
I AM HAVING A BOY

Get some music on! My little one started kicking very early on (14 weeks) but only when music was playing! Enjoy!
