Am struggling to keep up with this thread (previous thread) but am still here - 9wks+2, so you're not along mabel. In fact there's a few first trimester-ers - JBird and LondonJen are ones I know about!

I have one DC (3) and have had 1 mmc and 1mc since then. Having a really bad day today. Generally feeling sick and tired but today no nausea, which of course I've managed to convince myself is bad news.
I have finally managed to book first appointment with MW after MUCH time spent trying to get through on the phone. It's next Thursday. I'm hoping she's going to be sympathetic to my request for a scan the following week - more like 11 weeks than 12. With DC, I didn't get a first scan until 14 weeks which felt like an eternity then I totally disagreed with the due date (and went well overdue).

Well done squiz - thank you for new thread.

Felt some proper excitement about things today. In a good place. Sending these positive vibes out to you all

I'm 14 weeks tomorrow with baby #2 and I'm sure I just felt some movement. Kinds of like bubbles/fish flipping over sensation.

Monster in law mother in law says it's too early. But I've had a child before and I know what it feels like

Exciting, lots of posifrickintivity :-)

Penguinita bring on June!!! Grin It still feels like an age away at the minute, I'm having an ELCS and am currently waiting for the date for it. Seven friends?! I am in awe of you! I know what you mean about the Wine I've been gagging for a glass or three for ages, again I say bring on June!!!

Saggy really hope everything is going well for you both.

I have only told work (in case of MC time off initially) and a couple of RL post infertility/MC friends. Think I will consider telling if/when I get to 14 weeks (1 week!!).

MrsGiraffe that's really exciting, I don't have any DC yet, but I felt movement at 14 weeks this time, and by 16 weeks DH and our midwife could feel movement from the outside, so I say ignore the monster mother in law, you know best what you're feeling Grin

Pom poms for saggY and Ryvita!

I'm also first tri mabel. Just 8 weeks 4 days. Am totally mental but having a positive day - only cos have felt so unbelievably rough today. Tomorrow I will prob have no symptoms and be back to a worrying loon!

Bows down to the technical thread starting wizardry of squiz! Thanks!

MrsG I felt something like that at 13 weeks, as it is my first I dismissed it at a the time but now I know it was real. So perfectly possible I say.

My house is only medium sized fedup so it is going to be a cosy weekend with sofas and airbeds in full use! It is probably the last chance for us all to get together at my place as once LO here there def won't be room. So planning to enjoy myself and I'm sure the house will be a pigsty again by Sunday Smile

I think I will be slightly jealous of you when you get an ELCS date stars, the control freak in me is finding it hard to cope with not knowing the exact day that life will turn upside down Grin

MrsGiraffe that's soooo exciting and has brightened up my day as it reminded me of first time I felt DC move at 15 weeks. I thought I'd left my mobile phone in my lap on 'vibrate' mode then realised that there was no phone there!! Ignore MIL, you know what you felt.

MrsGiraffe12 · 07/03/2014 20:39

Thanks all. At least I know you all believe me here and that I'm not crazy. it's more noticeable when I'm relaxing etc and if I've had something hot (as in temperature not spice) to eat.

saggy has gone quiet, perhaps Ryvita has arrived :-) x

1 week squiz, exciting! I will count down with you as 1 week more is the point my last pg got to so a real milestone. Starting to believe this one is different and looking forward to sweeping right past the 10 week mark Smile

Mrs G that is very cool. Your MIL is a plonker Grin

Penguinita I think it will be nice to have an exact date (am also a not so closet control freak) but it does make it seem a bit weirdly clinical if you know what I mean Grin.
DH is absolutely ecstatic about our little man being born via cs, he was very traumatised after our last mmc (as was I), as the hospital very badly botched it and very nearly killed me (thank God for DH or I wouldn't be here now) so we switched hospitals and I flat out refused a vb. Our new hospital is fantastic and very supportive thankfully Smile

LondonJen I'm sure this time will be different for you, I am a big believer in that if you feel things are different that is the best possible sign Smile

Found you Smile

Welcome, wigwam, good that you're joining us.

Ugh, I've just done a class at the gym, really struggled with underlying nausea all the way through Confused The problem is that the instructor is actually a work colleague, too, so I always feel a bit exposed...
I'm starting to get really breathless already, it's ridiculous.

Report
fedupofrainydays · 07/03/2014 21:10

Wow jbrd. There's no way I could do any exercise at the mo and as well as my 'normal' job (mgt consulting) I'm a gym instructor! I just feel so sick and in bed by 8.30 so I'm impressed! Reckon if I get to second trimester and start to feel better I will do some exercise again!

mrsg I hear feeling movement second time round is much earlier so MIL can stick it!

Right... Hoping sleep will make me feel better. Last night I went to bed thinking I could wake up to Ryvita arrival news.... Am doing the same tonight! saggy is quiet so must be imminent or already happened!! Whoop!
