I'm 12 weeks and good god! I am hungry. I have just woken up and made a sandwich!! I eat like I'm afraid the foot will disappear!! I am actually sick if I go too long between meals. And they are meals. I tried tricking my stomach with snacks just to alleviate the sickness and it made me worse!! I have to eat every 3-4 hours and I'm eating so much!! I'm not really gaining weight though so guess that's a plus!!

Anyway else eating themselves silly??

Welcome in the hungry club. I'm only 7 weeks with DC2 and I could eat everything in the house that is eatable.. :-)

Well I'm 22 weeks with hyperemesis, had no appetite since day 1 of this pregnancy and have gone off all foods including the ones I used to love.

I suggest you enjoy and eat like a pig. I would be if I could!

Happy scoffing OP Grin

It may well come and go in phases. I had the nausea/need to eat/never actually being sick thing weeks 7-15, then just ate normally. Another phase of hunger 18-25 (included Christmas) then since then (now 30 weeks) my appetite is "fairly" normal! I have put on too much weight tho!

Yup, I'm in the same boat. If I don't have something to eat every 2-3 hours, I turn into a skinny version on the Incredible Hulk. If I don't eat I feel like I'm gonna puke or tear someone's head off. Only downside is by 5pm I've eaten so much throughout the day, I don't feel hungry at dinner or I have killer heartburn and trapped wind. I'm only 8 weeks and since I found out 2 weeks ago, I've put on 4lb and 4inches around my tummy.

Congrats ^^ to you all

That's what so strange, I have had awful nausea and vomiting. I am eating everything in sight and may or may not vomit it back later on :(

Wasn't like this first preg! I know they are all different but this one is expensive ;)

Congrats all.

I know about the expensive part!!!! Resorted to doing my food shop online as if I go anywhere near a supermarket I may come out with 2 trolleys worth of crap!!! The other thing is takeaways!!! I want kebabs n burgers and pizza all the time!!!

Yes, me too! I'm 13 weeks and eat all the time. I have to take snacks into meetings, otherwise I get grumpy if I think people are talking for too long!

I already have a huge bump, even though the baby is only about 7cm long. I'm going to have soooo much weight to lose. sigh. now if you'll excuse me I need to go and eat 3 weetabix and toast.

I know!! I am so bored of being hungry all the time. I could eat a snack or meal and literally half an hour later I'll be trying to work out what to eat next....it gets a bit tedious and the list of things to eat is getting shorter as I'm less inclined to eat something that I've sicked up before!

I'm also another hunger hippo! I eat a lot during the day now morning sickness is over (i hope) and then suffer with terrible heartburn and wind in the evening. I'm luck being very slim but I may not stay that way for long Hmm

im finding it chagnes from day to day, on wednesday i think i eat none stop the whole day yet yesterday eat pretty normal

my biggest problem is i am exhausted (no matter how much i eat) by the time i get home from work so its pre-prepared meals or take away every night.

Yes hungry hippo at week 10...2nd dc, didn't have this last time either. The same constant carbs (salty or sweet) cravings. Seems to be worst from 11-3. Started overeatimg as it helped nausea, then nausea subsided a bit but still chucking down the food...

Other thing I'm finding is I crave all bad foods! So after a while after eating I feel horribly bloated and sick and my digestion is sluggish.

Yep. 12 weeks and ravenous. If I don't regularly I get nausea but I have gained weight (and I was a chubster to start with).

I'm definitely turning into a hippo. Complained to my mother that I'm hungry all the time and she replied 'you'll be the size of a house end!' Thanks! I'm only 7 weeks, genuinely worried she might be right!
