Tell me about successful pregnancies with little to no symptoms

Hello, I am after reassurance mostly.

I am 9 weeks pregnant with hardly anything in the way of symptoms. Tender boobs most days (but not all), some tiredness (but I'm always tired) and hunger. However I am on progesterone which could cause all of that anyway. I have had perhaps one day of feeling a bit sick and body has not changed at all.

I had a missed miscarriage last year at 7 weeks and I'm terrified due to the lack of symptoms that the same is happening again. I did have a seven week scan that was fine, but I know a pregnancy can stop even after that.

At the same time, when I was pregnant with my son four years ago, I didn't have many symptoms then, either! But it was so long ago I think I have forgotten how I felt in myself at the time.

I am going a bit bonkers and I don't really have time/money to get a private scan (also a bit scared of finding out something's wrong at one), so today I would like to put my head in the sand by finding out that lots of you had absolutely wonderful pregnancies with no symptoms!

I'm watching this thread intently as I'm about 8 weeks and feel exactly the same! No sickness, just occasional loss of appetite, sore boobs but not all the time - tiredness is my only symptom which is affecting my day to day life! Hopefully we're just lucky....

My first pregnancy was a mmc and I had the same fears as you. Turns out I was blessed with relatively symptom free pregnancies as my next two produced healthy children with hardly any symptoms other than tiredness during the first trimester and a couple of food aversions. Wouldn't have known I was pregnant either time, other than just knowing iyswim, until the babies started moving.

I was exactly the same, had my 13 weeks scan last week and it was amazing! A lovely active wee thing kicking away :) x

I am 8 weeks plus 5 and the same.

I asked the midwife because I am obviously worried, and she just said "enjoy it, you're probably one of the lucky ones!"

I guess the thing is worry or not, what will be will be. Fingers crossed all goes well for you xxx

My symptoms didn't start until about 10-11 weeks and it was all downhill from there Smile

I had no symptoms. Not even a day of sickness. Tiredness was the main thing. Now 22 weeks and my little girl is kicking!! Grin

I was so symptomless I was 17 weeks before I found out due to an expanding waistline. I had irregular periods, so thought nothing of it.

I have 2 DDs and had no symptoms apart from achy boobs sometimes. The midwife asked me if I was sure I was pregnant, which wasn't what I wanted to hear as we'd had many years of infertility and and ectopic pregnancy prior to having the girls.I just put the symptom free pregnancies and fast easy labours down to good luck after years of bad luck.

I'm now nearly 15 weeks and no symptoms. Feel quite lucky!

I had sore boobs for a bit - then was so tired I fell asleep whilst talking once - and felt mildly hungover for a few weeks. Other than that, nada, zilch. Both times.

I'm 14 weeks and have seen LO happy and healthy at scan.
I've hardly had any symptoms, a bit of sore boobs between 6-8 weeks. No sickness at all though I had a few days where I felt a bit queasy, not enough to stop me eating though or bother me that much, could have been unrelated in fact. Try not to worry and just enjoy it Smile

With DD1 I had mild morning sickness for a few weeks around 14/15/16 weeks but nothing else to note :-)
Hoping for the same next time!

No symptoms. Felt fantastic, better than usual actually Shock

No stretch marks, 45 min labour, no pain relief (it hurt though!). No stitches. Walked out of hospital and put on my pre-pregnancy jeans. Grin

It happens. Only had one though so maybe the next one would have been a nightmare?

hamster I could have written that exact post! I'm also 9 weeks, and freaking out at the lack of symptoms. I stopped progesterone supplements last week so the symptoms I did have are reducing.

I've had some early scans, and thankfully I have another one next week. I seem to have doubts from the moment I walk out the door of the scan until I get to have another look!

Im 8 weeks tomorrow and have hardly had any symptoms either! Tender sore boobs and a bit of tiredness but nothing else, have a follow up scan tomorrow (having had an emergency one a few weeks back) so hoping to see that everything is ok and glimpse the heartbeat!

Thank you all for the fantastic responses. I sway between hoping I'm lucky, and sinking into pessimism. If this is a successful pregnancy I can honestly see how easy it would be to get fairly far into it without realising. Bodies are so weird!

DS gave me first-trimester tiredness and sore boobs but no morning sickness, no stretch marks, no cravings, no mood swings, no 'baby brain', no nesting and no bump until about 30 weeks. Had it not been for scans I would have been convinced the lines on the stick were due to a rare and terminal hormonal disorder. After the scans, I was still convinced he would be stunted and critically ill.

He came out at a healthy, squalling 9lb 2oz and now, at 21 months, he gives me no sleep Hmm Grin

My pregnancy with ds2 was pretty much symptomless.

And then I went and ruined it all when I fell in the snow and bust my ankle. Pins and plates were needed to fix it and I was still on crutches when it came to the birth!

Me! No morning sickness. No stretch marks. No SPD. No heartburn. Nothing. I went to the 12 week scan half-thinking they'd tell me I dreamt the positive test.

DS is eleven months old today. Smile

I'm the same. Not a symptom to speak of. I am almost 13 weeks and am having my dating scan tomorrow. I have an 18 month ds but before him I had 3 mmc so I am expecting bad news tomorrow :(

Both DD and DS symptom free apart from tiredness and a couple of days slight nausea - definitely one of the lucky ones, but counted down the days to my first scan, both times, convinced they'd say I dreamt it!

I even took a photo of my clear blue digi test 2nd time round so I could keep looking at it for proof Smile

I had a MMC and then went on to have an incredibly easy pregnancy. I had mild sciatica for a few days towards the end, but no morning sickness, no stretch marks, nothing horrible at all. My feet hurt a bit towards the end as I was mahoosive, but I was able to work until 38 weeks without trouble. I had no time off sick and life just carried on as normal except for my bump getting bigger.

I'm due next week with baby no2 & have had no bad symptoms with either. Other than a bit of tiredness early on & an expanding waistline I'd never have known I was pregnant other than the lack of periods. Enjoy it & Put it down to us being the lucky ones as I know plenty of people including my sister who suffered from day 1 till her baby arrived:-(
