Hi all!
Im currently 40+1 weeks and had a bloody show throughout the day yesterday. Today my MW gave me a sweep and iv been bleeding and loosing alot more of my mucus plug which is all bloody again. Ive had quite intense constant cramps not long after the sweep. Will i be in labour soon?

I lost my mucus plug on Saturday morning and got a sweep tomorrow. I have heard cramps after a sweep is quite common and I think could well be the start of something! Good luck smile Do keep us updated as I would love to know if it worked for you!

I am sure it won't be long! I had my sweep this morning and 4cm dilated. I seem to be having contractions every 5 minutes now and lasting about a minute. Just waiting for them to get stronger and quicker and will call the birthing centre smile
