has anyone any suggestions on what to be at in the evenings esp at weekends that obviously doesnt involve alcohol! am at a stage where i dont feel comfortable in pubs/clubs anymore.

Sit at home and watch tv that's what I'm doing right now! grin

Then again I haven't felt comfortable in a club since I was about 18!!! grin

Visit friends?
Invite friends over for dinner?
Cinema?
Cosy night in with your partner?

Housework?! grin Haha

How often did you go to pubs and clubs?!! I rarely go out anyway!

Eat cake/chocolate/biscuits. Watch shite telly & get feet rubbed by other half. No different to a non-pregnant sat night really. Although hubs more willing with the foot rubs when preggers.

Go to cinema.
Go out to restaurants.
Have conversations with your DP
Think your own thought.

It'll be years before you can do any of these things again!

NB: lunch at Giraffe with a toddler crawling over you first count!

It's all just such a faff isn't it? Getting ready to go out when you just feel fat & inappropriate in pubs. I went out for a friends birthday at 39 weeks with DD. I felt absolutely fine but just felt SO out of place & like I was a bad mum before I was even a mum. This time I'm wallowing.

I am making everyone go to modern Thai/Asian restaurants. They have good non-alcoholic cocktails, and I seem to crave that kind of food in pregnancy.

Could go to cinema or theatre?
