Our letter said £10 for 3 pictures, but when we handed over £10 they gave us 5!

£6 a picture with Birmingham Women's!!
At 20 week we asked for 2, so we could each take one to work. Looked at the pics after we paid and they were both crap. Same image, one slightly zoomed in. Really disappointed with them.

Wewere told £5 for one which we duly paid at 12 week scan. At 20 week scan we were told we could have it for free Hmm. Nothing in letter so think our hospital just makes it up!?

There were signs all over the u/s dept saying pics are £2 but we didn't pay for any scan pics for either of my girls.

£10 for 3, but they also let us snap the screen on our mobiles so we had a (sort of sketchy) digital one too.

£3 per picture - you buy tokens from a machine on the wall and give them to the sonographer. We wanted 3 pics but she told me just to buy 2 tokens Wink

Another from UHCW here, £10 per photo which I was not thrilled about. Theirs seem to be the most expensive so far, I'm interested to know how they will justify so will ask the question when I'm back there next.

My 12 week one was free because I had to wait AGES with a full bladder. It should have been a fiver for three pictures.

My 20 week one was a donation. We donated £10 for five pictures.

My 38 week one, emergency check which way up is the baby one, was also free. We got three pictures from that.

Ours was a fiver for one picture but they gave me about 6 I think, you pay before they give you the pictures so we didnt know how many we would get. It said how much it would be on the letter and how much change to have etc.

I had another today and when she gave my notes back she included 3 pics and didnt mention paying for them

We get charged £6.50 per photo if everything is fine but it's free if the image was blurry or if they find a problem with the baby.
