Just got back from the hospital and they have given us the date for our c section. The 12th of November but I have come away and suddenly become very nervous about being a mum!!
It's not like I didn't know it was going to happen but now it's all very real and I only have 27 days until it happens!! My DH is so calm and fine about it all!! But I am so scared that I'm not going to be a good mum and also suddenly terrified that something is going to go wrong with the surgery and I haven't had any worries about that all the way through!!
Is it normal to feel like this?? X

Excited congratulations and glad to hear you got what you wanted, after all the worrying. I am sure its normal to get scared when you get closer to delivery. Good luck.. Flowers

Thanks littlepea yeah we went in armed with facts and figures and notes and we were there 5 mins and saw the registrar that I saw last time and he just agreed that it was best went to speak to consultant and came back with the date! No questions or hassles!! Was quite shocked, he has also booked it for a day he works so he can do it as he had been my main caregiver throughout so I feel more comfortable with him doing it x

Fantastic... It's wonderful news and I am delighted for you. Now stop getting yourself all tied in knots with worry we have a lifetime of that when they are born and start enjoying the rest of your pregnancy. Grin

I'm also booked in for the 12th November! Please don't worry about what could happen, there is no sense in worrying about things that haven't happened. Remember, it's much more likely that everything will be fine, so keep that in your mind x

hi, why are you high risk? just wondering. ..I am too. ...my (3rd) c sec booked for 19th nov.. my last c sec was elective as my boy was breech..it was a lovely chilled out atmosphere in theatre. the surgeons had the radio on all the way through! I had to listen to 'hey hey we're the Monkeys' during the op Grin Grin

Because I have hemiplegic migraine and I also have a small pelvis but baby measuring big.
I am hoping it will be nice and relaxed because it is elective and also hoping to have the doctor that I have been seeing as he is really nice and makes me feel comfortable. X

Hi ladies, I am having my ELCS on 21 November and I am so excited. My husband however thinks it's a bit sad that we're going to miss the dash to the hospital and all that excitement and panic. I on the other hand and looking forward to avoiding all of that!
