As title says really!

Just had a show/lost plug, how long did it take for labour to start? I'm 40wks.

My normal mucus plug was coming away for weeks and weeks but the bloody one started coming sway in bits from 36wks, I went into labour at 37+6 which by that point it had turned very bloody rather then just streaked. Good luck x

7 days for me...

Slow pre labour from Monday to Wednesday midnight, lost plug (blood streaked) at midnight and had baby 11 hours later.

Think I lost it whilst in established labour with my second, so probably about 4 hours before she was born.

Mine didn't come until I had been pushing for a while. Strange as I thought it always comes first ??

Two weeks before ds was born and never with dd as waters went then had a section!

I was induced 10 days after losing my mucus plug.
