Hi

I'm between 6 and 7 weeks (don't know my dates exactly) and I don't really 'feel' pregnant and am getting a little concerned. I am tired, am going to the loo more, and have what feels like really, really mild period pains. My chest isn't tender, haven't had morning sickness etc. Am I just lucky or is there reason to worry? That 12 week scan seems SO far away!!!

Thanks
Zoe

You should be glad! My morning sickness started 2 days after conception and lasted til week 18! Haha but seriously, even though I had symptoms I still worried something would go wrong, and by the time I had a scan I started wondering if I was just pretending to be pregnant, weird as that sounds! The crampy pains are your uterus stretching so that's a good sign x

Thank you - I really appreciate your replies. Princess ... how come you had the early scan? I don't really understand what warrants them!

I had early scans too, because I had two miscarriages previously and they needed to check the placement of the embryo. They also give you early scans if you have bleeding x

Hi Zoe, I'm approx 7 weeks (also not sure exactly) and I feel the same, It just doesn't feel real! I went to my first midwife appt today and it still feels like I'm not really pregnant. I think it will feel like this until the first scan... Hope these next few weeks go fast! x

Sounds all normal. MS only starts at 7 weeks or a lot of women so you might still get it.

Hi Zoe

I am 6 weeks pregnant and can totally sympathise. I am also very tired, am always on the loo and have been having the period-like cramps too. There have been quite obvious changes to the way my breasts look and the other day I felt very nauseous. Despite all this though, I still have that moments of thinking, "But am I really pregnant? Is everything ok in there?"

I actually took a Digital Pregnancy test earlier to reassure myself that everything is going as planned. Last time I took one it said I was 2-3 weeks but today it said 3+ so I feel happier that things are moving in the right direction Smile

I ave got my Booking In appointment with the Midwife next Tuesday and I can't wait!

Hi Hugshugs, I'm not pregnant but have a baby DS and I was exactly like you. In fact I didn't feel pregnant all the way through! The only give away obviously was my bump. I was tired all the way through but never felt sick, not even slightly sick, I wasn't sick, I had no real symptoms at all and other than very tired all the time, I felt really good. Be grateful and hope your pregnancy continues this way as one of my best friends is nearly 20 weeks and has been so sick since day one of finding out. She can barely go anywhere and keeps ringing in work. You're probably having a baby boy!
