40+ weeks pity party

You overdue ladies have kept this a secret. Going past your due date really is the pits. My feet are huge, same for cankles and legs. Family nags me daily asking is the baby here yet. I go out for lunch, coffee, anything to fill the time (empty the wallet). How is everyone else coping/coped?

Joining you here photographerlady...I'm sick of it...have no money left until pay day next week due to too many coffees/dinners/outings and phonecalls and texts have started flying in from my large and lovely but slightly annoying extended family and friends. No amount of walks/bouncing on ball/pineapple seems to bring on ANYTHING. 40 weeks tomorrow and I can't deal with this hot weather and the swollen feet and ankles and SPD anymore...but this baby doesn't seen to be want to be budged!

I guess they'll arrive in their own good time, but any coping mechanisms much appreciated :-)!

Yeah I am about sick of pineapple too. Had another hot curry tonight and nothing except being full of regret to eat something so filling on such a hot day. Hang in there even if my reply was more of a moan I feel your pain.

I've been tempted to be a bit vague as in a whole month with my due date to stop the onslaught of "have you had it yet" etc etc. can't decide if this is mean tho?

A friend once went overdue and I made her a really hot curry and her waters went on my sofa...

Hope you don't have to wait too much longer!

can i just mark my place now? will be overdue with dc4 on the 18th. have had stupid start stop labour nonsense for a week, actualy phoned dh home yesterday i felt so out of sorts (and was in a state).

we went 4 a walk b4 the girls got in from school and a scooter ride around the village after tea which didnt make anything progress, just made me more depressed after dd2 declares "daddy, do we have to wait for mummy? she goes too slow!" dh tells her to ride on or ride home and i refrained from saying "yes child, you bloody well do!"

sorry for the moan, am feeling rather sorry for myself!

40 plus 2 here and have taken to ignoring the phone. Incredibly swollen feet and period-like cramps. Please come DD. please!

Hi can I join? 41+5 today. I'm going for my FOURTH sweep tonight! Really really hope it works as I'm booked in for induction on Wednesday and really want to avoid that.
