Morning sickness - when did yours start?

I'm five weeks pregnant with my first and was just wondering when other people began experiencing morning sickness, if at all? I've been feeling mildly queasy for the past week since I found out (husband says its psychosomatic) but nothing too bad yet. I have the sore boobs and mild stomach cramps, just looking for some reassurance that its all normal I think!

Im nauseous now, but no vomiting. Am due 9th March by my calculations so 4/5 wks now. Im nervous about the MS starting as I have an 18mo and am worried about when and where the sickness will occur - will it scare her, what do I do with her when I need to run off and vom.

My last pg it started around 6/7 weeks but had totally finished by 11wks, so Im hoping its a short burat again this time.

A poor friend of mine vomited every single day for the whole pregnancy. She couldnt travel in a car as she would just throw up over herself. Totally debilitating and she gained a total of 6lbs during the whole.pg as she just vommed evrrything up.

It is normal to never get morning sickness.

Smug alert - I've got 2 kids and only ever felt sick one time for a couple of hours so I suspect it may have been greediness rather than ms.

I was very very tired in the first few months but this may have been the fact I was working crazy hours first time round and having a young toddler to look after second time.

Thanks! I guess I'm a bit worried because most of my pg friends have suffered really badly, apart from one who didn't have any ms and she miscarried at 7 weeks. So stupidly I'm worried I am not feeling sick enough! I bet I'll regret that sentiment if I start getting it really badly over the next few days/weeks :) Reassuring to hear that not everyone suffers from it though - thanks!

Around 6 weeks and lasted for a couple of weeks - and was lucky, was more just a bit of nausea in the mornings that eased when I ate and I wasn't sick. 32 weeks now and all seems to be fine - so don't worry, as you can see from other posters we don't all get MS!

I was feeling queasy at about 4 weeks when I got BFP and mine has got worse since then. Currently 8+3 and i feel sick pretty much all the time and and being sick frequently. Been signed off work as I can barely do anything due to feeling so awful. I get what you mean about worrying if you don't have it though - I felt a bit better yesterday and started worrying if everything was okay. Back to puking today tho so I'm guessing its a yes!

Good luck with your pregnancy and get as much rest as you can. I hope you MS doesn't get too bad. I've been wearing those wristbands for travel sickness which are supposed to help - might be worth trying if it does kick in.

Never had any morning sickness in either pregnancy, which worried me at first, as I thought everyone did, but apparently a minority of women never get morning sickness.

I was only actually sick once at 10 weeks but nauseous between 6-13 weeks with the odd bit of nausea every now and then even now at 23 weeks.

Started at about 6 weeks and lasted until about 14/15 weeks, constant nauseau and vomiting at least once a day, sometimes up to 10 times a day. Now at 32 weeks and it has just returned! Lots of people don't suffer much or at all, so don't worry and be grateful Smile, it's horrid!

Never had any with DS, suffered fairly badly from weeks 6-9 then miscarried second pregnancy. Morning sickness or lack thereof doesn't indicate how healthy a pregnancy is!

Nausea started around 5 and a half weeks, actual vomming started about two weeks later. Vommed at least once a day (barring Christmas Day and Boxing Day - amazing!) til about 11/12 weeks, then was more sporadic. Had a couple of out of the blue voms at 16 weeks and 20 weeks, but bulk of it was done by 14 weeks or so.

5 weeks and still here at 33 weeks!!

The vast majority of my friends haven't suffered any sickness so don't get worried if you don't get anything!

I got a BFP at around 3 weeks 6 days. I fell pregnant on the pill so no idea when I ovulated; I didn't have a period to count it from, I've just worked it out from the date they put me at on my early scan.
The reason I took a test was because I was feeling unusually nauseous! So around 4 weeks for me. A doctor actually told me it was too early for me to feel any symptoms but everyone is different.
