V.early days with second pregnancy but obviously jumping ahead and making lists!!! Grin

DD will be about to turn 2 when new baby arrives. My questions are:-

A. Will I need a double buggy?

B. DD has a cot bed - newborn will have a Moses for first 3-4 months I guess, then what? Do I put newborn into a cot and then into cotbed when DD outgrows it and goes into a bed?

Help!

Regarding question B, most toddlers tend to be able to climb out of their cot before they are 2 so would need to go into a bed prior to that. You can either use the cotbed changed into a cot or a normal single bed. The cheaper option would probably be to put DD into single and newborn into cotbed once too big for Moses basket, unless you already have the cot.

I was due to have 2 years 6 months between my DS and DC2 but sadly miscarried. However, virtually everyone I had spoken to said I'd need a double pram as a 2 year old can't obviously walk as far or as fast as I may have wanted to, and also it's hard to chase after a wilful toddler whilst pushing a newborn in a pram! My DS is now just over 2 and although we don't use the pram a lot I can see that I wouldn't have been able to cope without a double!
